Postillion Hotel Deventer

Great location for an overnight stop, very clean, food excellent and a great location if travelling with a pet due to teh open space around the hotel

A good building on the edge of the city next to McDonald’s and the highway.

The room was not properly cleaned.

The beds are seperate with individual bedcovers and pretty small, even if i am only 1.75 m

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was nice and helpful

The location more or less requires that you use your car to come and go. It is a little too far to walk to the city center

The welcome and the help received by the reception for finding a Taxi in the night when I arrived to the train station

Dirty and overpriced. Food was 3 days over the due date.

Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Great size bathroom and shower.

We only took breakfast on one morning as it was very average

The staff was very friendly and understanding, and they went out of their way to accommodate us when we needed help (such as booking a Taxi). The rooms are immaculate. Breakfast was very fresh and included a wide variety of food. The hotel has a restaurant, and the food is really good. There is also a very small gym, but big enough to have a good workout. The necessary machines are all available. The only restaurant adjacent to the hotel is McDonald's. However, a 5-minute bus takes you to the village. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from within the town. The reception is well-equipped with chairs and tables that are business-orientated. This means that if you are meeting someone for a meeting, staying in the reception area gives you adequate space for a meeting. There are charging points, etc...

There is nothing not to like about this hotel.

Location was great for us with plenty of free parking and close to where where we needed to go.

There was no bar fridge in our room so we couldn't keep the drinks we bought from the supermarket cold.

HORRIBLE, DIRTY, SMELLY

Very dirty. Horrible location exactly next to Giant chemical factory which smells so much so you can’t breathe. Industrial zone. No public transport. Ugly place. Room is very dirty and depressing. Very dirty sink, bottles with soap etc. There are big 5G antennas on the roof of hotel. Worst place I have ever seen

Beautiful and clean hotel. Breakfast was nice, but a bit simple. We could rent bikes to go to the city center, which we did gladly. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. We really liked our stay at the Postillion.

There was no option for one couple's bed, so we had to go with the two twin beds. The mattresses were too soft, and the bed would slide on its wheels at every movement.

Position of hotel and parking good, staff friendly

Disappointed with the room the shower was tiny and varied in temperature. We were shown the menu for that evening but having booked and sat in the restaurant the menu changed. Then there was confusion over our order as different staff firstly advised and the took our order resulting in avery disappointing meal.

The hotel can easily be reached by car or bike. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the interior is modern and well thought trough. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help out.

The breakfast costs 18 euros. We thought that was quite expensive. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The breakfast was okay but not worth the money. The rooms seem to be badly soundproofed. We had three different rooms and all three of us complained about the loud sounds during the night.

Hotel is in a quite and beautiful area outside the center and it was fine for me that I did not have to go into the traffic. The room was well organized, clean and comfy. All the facilities like loby bar and business center were good.

It is a very nice hotel with a great location near Deventer industrial area. You will need to take a taxi to city centre though.Breakfast was nice, friendly staff.Just don't forget your card, because they are cashless!!!

We stayed here on New Year's Eve with our dog that is scared of fireworks. The location is perfect as the fireworks can only be noticed in the distance. Multiple (hyper)chargers for Electronic Vehicles next to the hotel. Staff was helpful.

Bathroom was outdated and a very small shower. Beds are very soft.

Very helpful staff at ungodly hours (middle of the night), very understanding of my emergency accommodation situation, including free emergency toothbrush set - much appreciated!
