- The room door knobs felt like they had years of grease buildup. Id seen all the reviews complaining about road noise, but I was on the back side of the motel, and I was also prepared with my white noise app. I did hear some strong winds whistling outside behind my room, but nothing my app didn't conceal. Plenty of toilet paper! Great front desk staff. Clean sheets and toilet and Im a happy traveler. An 8 minute walk to some local beaches which also have at least 8 local Caribe beach shack restaurants on them. A 30 minute beach breezes walk to the airport and all of it along a paved road. Plus the airport bus runs by at the round about 2 minutes walk away or use Indrive app to get a ride. Be sure to try the WONDERFUL handmade fresh roasted grilled chicken right outside the building and just east. It is made by a sweet ole man with a big metal wood burning fire. Im from the southern USA and have NEVER had better chicken. He makes it at dusk and when its gone its gone. ... With roasted chicken like that next door, who cares about an older building?
