Helpful staff, elevator, location

Beautiful..Very nice..close to the train station Stadt mitte!! Good price! The hotel was clean and well maintained. I will definitely go back!!

Very central location, easy on site parking, reasonable value.

The WiFi connection was slow to the point of being useless, the pillow was very thick and uncomfortable

Large comfortable and clean room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Good parking and a short walk to the castle.

The hotel is perfectly located: within a short walk from the city center, from the railway station, and from the palace. Actually, the street even overlooks the palace. Still, it's very quiet so that one can sleep with open windows without any problems. The staff is very nice and helpful, ready to meet you halfway.

The place is impeccably clean, but feels as a time-machine to the 1990s. Looks like there is not a single thing younger than 25-30 years. Predictably, there in no wi-fi in the rooms - apparently to sustain the atmosphere of 1995. The only thing to have changed over the past 30 years appears to be the price, which is fairly high. The breakfast is mediocre, while the management feels obliged to impose absurd rules on the guest: e.g. one is not allowed to use the main entrance to the hotel after 6 pm and should go around the building instead and use the backdoor. Not a big deal of course, just bizarre.

The accommodation was fine, the room comfortable.

In a small narrow courtyard hotel has a smoking corner for guests. When you're unlucky and have windows to this yard like we do, all cigarette smoke goes straight into your room. You can't have the windows open... That's a big mistake.

Near the Castle and the city center

Under the bed and at the corners, one could see spider webs. Also the TV was not working.

Close to city centre, castle and outdoor stage. Easy to reach, good parking facility, friendly staff. Room size was appropriate for single traveler, had a great view (castle).

No AC but manual fan, small window in room. Very poor/limited vegetarian/vegan options at breakfast. No plant based milk for coffee. Scrambled egg was only offered with bacon - although it should be easy to offer it seperately.

The hotel is in an old building, but the rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Location is great and it takes around 10 minutes to walk to the castle. The train station is of a similar walking distance, and there is a tram stop close by to go to the city center.

WiFi is not so stable; TV is quite old. But they both work. The reception and rooms can be separated by a yard with cobblestones, which is not the most friendly with suitcases. Our room was on the ground floor and it felt a bit damp.

Small point, but there are no staff after hours, so if you arrive outside usual times, you have to look after yourself. Not a problem, but good to be aware.

Central location, clean and quiet hotel. Good value for the money.

The beds were really poor. Both me and my partners suffered a lot of back pains from the beds.

The location is perfect, the breakfast ok, nothing too much and the room needs more power plugs.

There was only one power plug available and far away from the bed. I always remark that having a water kettle makes an important upgrade and sadly here there is none.

Nothing!!

Spacious room and en suite with everything you need even an electric fan - which was needed. Good location - just a hundred yards to the old town, the same to the castle. Very helpful allowing us to park in the hotel courtyard for a few Euros. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed.

There was nothing I didn't like. I'd stay there again.

On booking it said we’d have two double beds but we had two singles.

Quiet location in the city center. Welcoming and helpful staff. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable, and a good size bathtub which we enjoyed a lot.

great location so close to the castle and town centre. Lovely old building but nice modernised room. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Had to park in the overflow car park at the back which while conveniently located was rocky and sandy so don’t try to wheel your suitcases, the wheels might be ruined.
