Hotel Saffron is located in the center of Bratislava, just a 15-minute walk from historic Old Town. This 4-star congress hotel offers elegant rooms, a restaurant, a lobby bar with an office corner, newly renovated fitness center, a 24-hour reception. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Parking is available for a surcharge. All rooms are nonsmoking and feature an air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, tea & coffee set and a safe. Each bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Most of the bathrooms have a bath tub and family rooms comes with a bath tub as well as a shower. The hotel offers 6 conference rooms boasting 1.500 m2 which can easily accommodate up to 900 people. The city center, the Slovak National Bank, the Presidential Palac and the Government of the Slovak Republic are all within a short walking distance from the hotel. The main bus and train station are both less than 0.9 miles from the Saffron Hotel, and the Bratislava Airport is 4 mi away.

- THe Hotel was great, Rooms were big enough and comfortable. A big spacious room, excellent spread of Breakfast buffet. Staff was courious and overall experience was great
- The rooms are clean, nice, spacious and comfortable. The check-in process was efficient. The hotel is located a bit outside the centre but a walkable distance (1-1.5 km). The breakfast was rich and quite nice.
- The price was great for what you get-the place was spotless, the staff was very polite, and they had everything we needed (the bathroom, amenities, all perfect!). The only thing is that the location wasnt my favorite. Its not about the distance (its actually super convenient for the train station!), but walking there at night felt a bit unsafe, and the entrance was a little hidden. That said, its just my personal impression, and we didnt have any issues!
Cons -
- The Location is bit far from old Town and city center.
- No major issue found.
- The location wasnt my favorite, but not because of the distance from the Old Town-the description was clear about that, and its actually a perfect distance from the main train station. My concern was more about how it felt walking there at night, the area didnt seem very safe, and the entrance was a bit hidden and unusual. That said, its just my personal impression, I didnt have any bad experiences safety-wise! At the end of the day, you cant please everyone, jeje. Thanks for everything!
