Food was horrible. I only at twice there & got sick both times. I¿m home &still suffering from the food I ate there. The options are very limited even at the buffet. Weird combination and dry. Only the chix strips at pool were good. Drinks equally bad

I liked that as a Solo female traveler I was reassured and made to feel comfortable with every excursion. I had someone accompany me and had photo proof of every handoff at pickup and drop-off.

The only thing that I didn't like, was one of my tours was Spanish speaking only. But, even with that someone was able to translate for me while on the tour.

The dancers were phenomenal and the room was nice. I don’t play golf, but the golf course looked nice too. There were plenty of lounge chairs by the pool ands beach. Maybe we’re traveling during the down season, but I’m glad I didn’t have to worry about getting up early to save seats. The front desk staff was friendly and some of the servers at the restaurants. Giovanni in the lobby bar was awesome! Very attentive and always kind! Also the gentleman that did the property bike tour (I think his name was Johnny or John) was nice and the young lady who taught the Bachata class was cool too.

The food was mediocre at best. The Italian restaurant (Portofino) was really good and their cheeseburgers was awesome! Outside of that, I didn’t enjoy the food, especially breakfast. The gym was small and didn’t offer many machines, but at least I could get a some exercise. You can tell it’s an older hotel and could use a “face lift”, but it wasn’t bad. The carpet in the hallway smelled very mildewed. The staff was hit or miss in regards to kindness. Sometimes I felt like they didn’t want to be bothered with me. Most were not very good with English, but I should actually be better at Spanish since I’m in their country. I’m just used to the Hyatt brand leaving a better overall impression.

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon in South America! We couldn’t have been treated better! We got upgraded in our room, Prosecco delivered during our stay, we couldn’t have asked for better! Will definitely keep Dreams in mind for our next resort!

    Nothing!

Staff were great, beautiful hotel and very clean

Food was not good - bland and limited choice for vegetarians. Portofino particularly disappointing.

    9JulianaPosted on: 12-30-2024

Staff super nice and always trying to help. Pools really nice, food really good for a all inclusive hotel.

The beach area could be more well maintained. Missed restrooms near the pool area.

    Nothing to declare.

I didn't like anything. It was a really unpleasant experience. The food was not good, the structure lacks a lot. And they lied about the offering regarding the bonus with the spa, I felt harmed.

For those who play golf the course is the only viable option

Food was bad, not even the basics for the region were well executed. Quality was way below expectations the rooms have noise my ac and were worn down. The drinks were terrible decent drinks were only available in the business center. The so called 200 credit was a set of cupones.

Restaurant options - we had a bad experience at the Porotino restaurant. We dined there Sunday wearing dresses and flip flops. Monday night we went to the seafood restaurant and we told we could not stay because we had flip flops on. We stated that we did not pack shoes so she made an exception and let us in. The next night we went back to Portofino and we told we could not dine because we had on flip flops. Antonio the manager was called and he shook his head no. We then had to go back to the seafood restaurant because the main buffet was closed. That was the only restaurant open. We were upset because there was no consistency about wearing flip flops. I have been to several all inclusive hotels and never had to wear shoes. I will not recommend this resort to anyone.
