Good location, clean rooms, standard breakfast. Hotel is OK, can be visited for the second time. Thanks to owners, they keep their eye on everything.

For an American we normally use face cloths. That would nice to have.

We had a perfect one night stay here. The location was great when driving through Germany. The hotel owner Carola was very helpful with everything. The hotel was so nicely kept and exceptiobally clean. And the breakfast was really good ?

The hotel is right next to a lovely city park and also a five minute walk from Soltau Therme, a truly impressive sauna/swimming/massage/wellness center with a wide variety of pools and activities. We went swimming at 7:30 a.m. before enjoying the hearty and varied breakfast at the hotel, then continuing our journey.

We didn't like that our schedule only allowed us to stay overnight one night, as we would have loved to partake of more of the Soltau Therme's many activities.

The location was great, we were greeted warmly and offered paid breakfast options, even tourism information and bus schedules.

Sometimes hospitality can be too much, especially when you're travelling far and staying all day on your feet. From weird questions to assumptions that you must speak German if you stay in Germany and feeling like you're being "watched" and judged.

Really nice hotel with good service. Got a fresh and clean family room with a separate bedroom for the children. Nice, quiet and clean.

Nothing to not like, great value!

Central place, easy to find, and nice park close to the rooms. We had two double rooms on ground floor, both large and comfortable with access to balcony.

Room was very pretty. Bathroom older, but everything was Nice and clean. Room terrasse was a Nice surprise. There was a fridge in the hall, that guests could use. Host was really friendly and we felt very welcome. Great Location.

It was really hot outside and the room was rather humid. We could also hear the conversations of the guests in the next room. But for a few days this was a great place.

Very nice and caring staff, nice rooms and service. Nice sun deck!

Our stay was excellent from beginning to end. Nice, clean, comfortable hotel which I want to recommend to everyone who is going to stay in Soltau. 10/10.

great location, the lady at the reception is very polite and attentive. She provided us with a lot of useful information. We will gladly come back here again :) A very interesting town, the hotel is very suitable for families with small children - the interior of the rooms was created specially. Also nearby is a huge park with lots of swings.Сonvenient free parking near the hotel.

Avoid this hotel. First, it has serious security issues. The next morning after arrival we were in the room and (our door was locked and the key was in the door interior the room) and a woman (not a host and not a cleaning lady since she didn't have any cleaning supplies with her) opened our door with her key from the outside. We were absolutely shocked and terrified to see a stranger entering our room. The woman saw us and left immediately. Whether it was another guest having the same key or the woman related to the hotel comes to steal the valuables of guests - I do not know. It is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable that a stranger entered our room. We left immediately after this.Second, we had to leave our car at the public parking lot because the tiny parking of the hotel that can fit only 4 cars was full (though it was said on booking.com there was free hotel parking).Third, we booked one room but got a completely different room. Moreover, we booked the room with a double bed for two people, instead we got the room with two separate beds. The host said she doesn't have any double beds for two. Beware of the fact that the room pictures and descriptions may not correspond to what you see in real life.Fourth, the host did not apologize for the room and beds being different from what we had booked, absence of parking or serious security issues. She was talking in a rude manner with an insincere smile. The host was discussing us in German right in our presence with another person in the hotel, without knowing we could understand quite a few of her words. It was very rude and offensive. We didn't feel neither welcomed nor safe.I believe all these issues are linked to the fact that it is more like renting a room with an owner in a big house (even though it is supposed to be a three star hotel) rather than a hotel with a professional staff.Avoid this place: I recommend choosing a well-established hotel even if it is a bit more expensive.

Quaint and clean hotel with friendly staff in a nice central location backing o to the park. Fresh German breakfast with a nice coffee each morning. I had an enjoyable stay!

The location is excellent, so close to the town centre, yet very quiet and near a lovely green park. The staff were very friendly and everything provided was very good. The breakfast room was very nice and the buffet had lots of good options and plenty of food. Excellent value for the price, room and breakfast. The bed was very comfy and the room decor simple yet whimsical. There was lots of free parking nearby. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t think of anything other than that I would have loved to stay longer!
