AMAYA Hotel & Suites Soltau

Stayed there for just one night. Close to the highway but still quiet and relaxing country atmosphere. Nice rooms but kitchen could be a bit bigger for my taste. Still, I highly recommend this place for a short/medium stay.

It was a nice spacious room located in a beautiful green space in nature. The place has so much potential to be amazing. The area by the pond is just beautiful.

The facilities (especially the kitchen) are old and in need of an update. The refrigerator smelled bad and was moldy. The carpet has so many stains. The shower head was old and moldy. The grounds are really neglected and the playground area for the kids was just sad. I don’t recommend the breakfast. At €12 (cash only) it was disappointing. Nice bread rolls with cheese and a few other things, (very limited variety), only watery box orange juice, cold poached eggs served on an open plate with no means to keep it warm. Good coffee but don’t ask for a second cup. You’ll get a watered down version. Most of all the fruit seemed days past being good and I was surprised it was even on display.

The location was great; The hotel was close to nature and the surrounding was very beautiful. It was also close to Heide Park resort (15 minutes by car)

Breakfast was a big disappointment. The price of 12 EUR had only few items - no hot meals like sausages or eggs (only few boiled eggs). The spreads and butter were poorly presented and it was difficult to put it on the plate.

there was no noise protection to contain the sounds of the near motorway (Autobahn). it is heavy used even during night time.

Better to come in late spring or summer. It's far from the city centre and civilization) You definitely need a car to get there.

Nice room in a very nice and romantic setting in the middle of the forest in the Harz. Very good value for money.Relatively close to the A7 motorway between Hannover and Hamburg. Very clean and quiet.

Perhaps a bit of heating in the room before arriving and a bit of soap in the bathroom would have been beneficial.

Quiet countryside setting. The hotel was old fashioned, but brought back memories of my childhood at grandparents home. It was very comfortable.

Nothing. I knew it was close to motorway, the noise wasn't disturbing to me, but others might consider it to be a drawback. It is out of the way, but sat nav had no trouble.

Feels very cozy and home-y, the woman who checked us in was very sweet and helpful and the rooms were great. A nice, relaxing setting with lovely buildings.

Clean room with comfortable beds. Considering that Heide park is in the middle of nowhere, it is not far from the location (if one is traveling by car).

They use shower curtains instead of shower glass in the shower. What I did not like most is that once we have ordered the place (it was the day before our visit), the landlord did not mention that they were hosting a wedding celebration in the building nearby (in their territory). Furthermore, the booking was placed on booking.com as non-refundable. We've also got the room which was facing the building in which the celebration took place, so we could hear the celebration in midnight pretty loud and clear... And this did not make our visit in this place very pleasant

Set in woodland with a small private lake. Room large and airy. Would have loved to have stayed longer

wonderful staff, the owners are absolutely friendly, delicious breakfast, beautiful location, perfect for hiking and sightseeing in Soltau/Lüneburg Heath area
