Great location near the heath. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

Grounds not very well kept. Staff was not very friendly.

Easy and ok breakfast. Cheap and ok for the cost. Easy to find.

Hotel was very good with telling us how to check in, providing clear instructions, however the staff member the following morning was demanding us for the payment for the pet policy but their card machine wasn't working. They had games room but that was closed. There were people talking very loudly until 11pm each night, Beds were comfy. WiFi didn't work anywhere on site, TV had no channels available. Parking was easy.

Far from Dorfmark train station.But if you have a car it's a good place. For a good price .

OK, I have read a lot of bad review about this acommodation so I was ready for what I have learned. All in all you will get what you paid for. There is no staff at the desk but I had no problem to call and we solved all via phone. Everything worked. Even when I traveled alone, I got a very spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The courtains looked very wierd and there was no chance to shut them but after a moment I found a switch to put down the outdoor blind and then there was a nice dark in my room.

checking took a lot of time and instructions was send to my mobile phone in German even when I spoke with the owner in call in english - this could be improved, but in the end everyone has the acces to online translator, so it is not a big deal.

The location in a village was quite nice and the bathrooms were clean.

Nobody on reception. Had to call someone to check in at 16:00 and were given instructions by telephone. Took us an hour to check in and find our rooms. Property is very rundown and has a very strange, unloved feeling about it. The photos are not representative in my opinion. The “pond” looks more like a swamp and the whole property is shabby and unwelcoming. The carpet in our room was filthy, very stained. The property is a number of houses, each of which has about 4/5 rooms or apartments. The main doors of the houses are open, so anyone could walk in. When we returned to the accommodation late at night after attending a wedding, there was someone asleep on a mattress on the floor outside our room. It was unfortunate because with a little TLC and someone on reception to welcome guests, this could be a reasonably pleasant place to stay.

How to get keys, codes and staff!! No help..... and the walls very thin, we heard everything and everyone outside or in the hallways

Location off the beaten track

Some appliances have disappeared before our arrival and we were asked if we knew anything about it...no idea what happend to them.

Nice neighborhood

The apartment had a nonfunctional kitchen. No utensils, no plates and no cooking equipment. The entire apartment is ugly designed and feels unfinished and uncomfortable.

The room had a nice size, and no complaints about the beds either. There's a little game room, with things like 8-ball, and outside there's a playground.It's situated somewhat close to Soltau, about a.10 minute drive.

Check-in was a bit difficult, we had to call their number to do so since noone was at work (at 19:00), but we couldn't really communicate with them since they only spoke German. The room was a bit messy, we had to find a way to power the TV, the fridge and so on. Bathroom wasn't inside our room, so we had to leave our room to use it. We were also rushed out earlier than what the checkout time written here in booking.com as well as in the reception.

The location was good. The room was spatious and clean.

There was nobody at the reception when we arrived, twenty minutes before agred time. After waiting for a half an hour we called the staff on the phone. They explained something about sending something. Due to poor language skills, it was not clear what was sent. A text message, email, or a Christmas card. There was another customer on the yard with the same problem. Together we found our way to a cardboard box in the reception room which had keys to our rooms. The following morning there was a knock on our door. A staff member was asking us to pay for the room. We had already paid in advance. It took a while to convince her since she did not speak a word of English. That´s understandable, we don´t speak much of German. After presenting her with a receipt, she apologized. Everything was okay. We took it all as practical excample of German humour. What was not okay was the spectacle the next morning. A staff member required us money for the payment, which we had already paid and proved by showing another staff member a receipt. This other person confronted us in the breakfast queue and in front of other customers, demanded us for money. As we explained we had already explained and proved this to his colleague, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away without mentioning a word. That was quite rude, arrogant and humiliating. Mostly he just made a fool of himself but one has to wonder how poorly information regarding monetary issues is run in this business. We have been to this establishment once before. The next time we will rather sleep under a tree than go to this establishment where people don´t know when they have charged for the room in advance, when they have been showed receipt for the payment and don´t inform or let the staff know this. Very, very poorly run business. I wonder how they manage to keep doing this.

There was pee and toilet paper in the toilet when we arrived. There was trash in the garbage can + a lot of other things.

Room had good size and a very nice bathtub. The most comfy beds i have ever had at a hotel

Carpets on floor is always not that niceBreakfast was very small selection without any greens. Allergenmarking was missing and no staff around to ask

Clean and spacious rooms, good location, good value for money in comparison to other hotels in the area.

Very simple (kindergarten) breakfast, no hairdryer, no shampoo. I kind of expected that when I saw the price.
