Atlantic Hotel Kiel

I never stayed here, I've been writing to you and the hotel to get my money back because I made a booking and in reality there was no room availble.

Best location, room size, friendly staff, nice breakfast

Amazing breakfast and the location is in the middle of everything

The bedding sheets for the double beds does not fit for this type of bed

Great location, clean and well maintained, sufficiently spacious. Staff is courteous and professional. Breakfast was excellent.

The mattress was great but not the pillows. One was soft and flat, the other soft and fat. I like firm pillows and neither worked for me. One thing to watch out for is that they will only give you one 750 ml bottle of water every three days. If you want an extra one it’s about $10.

Good location to shopping and the train.The breakfast buffet was very good and offered a wide range of choices. The staff was nice and helpful as well.

A little dated and personally do not like carpeting in rooms.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious with a lovely sea view. Since it was Easter, the hotel provided us with chocolates and a puzzle to color, which was a sweet surprise that made our child very happy. Breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect for shopping, catching ferries, and just a short walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful. Highly recommend, especially for families!

We planned to bring our dog with us, they provided food bowl, dog mat and food for our dog. That's so sweet. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best.

We arrived in our own - car parking was very easy and it was easy to recharge our car. Very polite and helpful people at the Reception made the check-in seamless. My wife and I had a suite with a grand view of the inner Kiel harbour so we had a good meeting place with our daughter and grandchild, who had a normal room, that they also were very satisfied with. We were a little sad to learn that the hotel restaurant Pier 16 was closed in the evening but fully understand it as our visit was in the off-season. It lead us to find good restaurants outside the hotel. The Atlantic is situated close to a small ferry that offers trips inside the harbour and to the “must visit when in Kiel” Uboot memorial at Labou. Shopping opportunities are manyfold in the vicinity of the Atlantic I forgot to mention the hotel breakfast which gave us a very good start every morning and again manned by very helpful and very polite staff. I also met the cleaner and the person that refilled our minibar - again very polite and helpful persons. All in all we had a memorable and excellent stay at the Atlantic Kiel. I have already strongly recommended the Atlantic to my work collegues and friend and other family members. Many thanks for the chokolate in our room and for making our stay a very pleasent one. I have visited this hotel before and enjoyed my stays. It is in a very convenient location.The breakfast is very good

The shower head in my bathroom was faulty The bar and restaurant were closed over the weekendMy minibar was not restocked I preferred it when coffee was served to the table in a coffee pot. I did not enjoy the coffee from the self service machine

I liked everything very much, in the very center, cleanliness, service 100%, only the two beds were pushed together and there was a big gap between the two beds, it was very uncomfortable to sleep

The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was great! The location is perfect and the staff was super friendly and good!

Bed is not for double,two single bed use for two.Also, quilts was too small,No sleepers in room,No daily drinking water.

Excellent staff, great location, well equipped rooms

Just one thing - that I find is the same in most hotels these days: the room was too warm to my liking. So we didn’t sleep as well as we could have.

The location of the hotel was superb, right in front of the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive to our needs, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, the location was the standout feature of this hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.

All the staff were friendly and professional.

Unfortunately like a lot of hotels near to a railway station there are a lot of homeless people and this detracts from an otherwise lovely location.

Fantastic location right across road from train station. Taxis right outside. Breakfast was amazing. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Also great roof top bar.

The occasional smell of stale cigarette smell. Noticeable because we don't smoke.
