Hotel Wiking

Very close to the ferry terminal and just a short walk to several restaurants. Safe parking for the bikes. Staff was helpful and friendly.

There were some noise from trafic.

Bedroom was spacious, and had plenty of space to hang clothes, as well as a dresser with several drawers. A small writing-desk was provided. Decor was plain and slightly oldfashioned, but perfectly acceptable considering the reasonable room rate. The breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful.

The breakfast room, and other public spaces such as the lobby and hallways, seemed a little worn. The WiFi in my room was weak; I had to move to the breakfast room to get a steady internet connection.

The location

The room was small for a family of 4. No AC - and it was very hot in the room. Needs a good upgrade

Good value for money and near the city center. It's easy to drive to the hotel location and there is free parking onsite.

Keep in mind the room is quite small and a little outdated.

A simple room with everything you need, comfortable bed and very quiet inside the room, very good isolating windows. The bathroom is small but with everything necessary. To have the possibility to park the car there was great. We could reach easily by walk the Harbour area and the old city center.

The breakfast was quite simple but good enough.

Staff was friendly. The bread for breakfast was really nice.

The stay was very good, the bed was comfy and the staff was very friendly. I would like to point out that the location by car was convenient. Finding parking was the most challenging during our stay.

The bathroom and the shower are a catastrophe. Very small. You can barely move. When you shower the whole floor gets wet...

Great space for a night in Kiel. Nice room with a bit more space than other rooms at the same budget. Only one small elevator, so we had to take the stairs to the 4th floor quite some times (the lift/elevator was old and literally only fit one person). Nice breakfast. Will book again if I am going to Kiel again.

The beds were very firm. We were 3, so I got the extra fold out bed. Was alright for one night, it it would be a nightmare for 2-3 days or more.

Not a prime location, but OK. The quadriple room is very litle, but again ok if it's just for one night. Very tiny bathroom. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
