Hotel Königstein Kiel by Tulip Inn

Everything was clean and in order. This is a no-frills hotel, but it was perfect for us, offering just what we needed without any unnecessary add-ons. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location for us was perfect, right on the bus route. Our room was in the back of hotel, so it was quiet with a good view of an apiary.

We had trouble getting into the hotel because our PIN wasn’t working. Unfortunately, the check-in desk was closed that afternoon. Luckily, the staff from the hotel’s second location, Golden Tulip, helped us and kindly gave us a room. The other location was nearby, so it wasn’t an issue since we had a car.

Lidl close by, easy check in even after 8PM , nice and big comfortable bed for 1 person

The toilet could've been cleaner. No elevator so if you come with heavy luggage it's a bit of a struggle

The bett was ok, but in general the hotel was not nice furnished. There were many smokers around the hotel.

We did not have hot water and were not informed. 24 hours without hot water, even if it is an accident is not normal. Hotel staff is not nice and did not want to contact the manager and did not offer anything. The next day they offered a breakfast, but no money back for the night stay.

Spotless bed and bedding. Complimentary coffee and tea is nice. The university is just a 30 min forested walk away

Carpeting needs a deep clean. Payment by foreign cards failed (ATM was reasonably close). No outlet close to the bed.

I booked 2 times wrong and from the hotel didnt canceled the wrong dates… the room was dirty the towels also..

family style, close to public transportation, close to freeway and also close to hiking/biking park.

free parking, helpful staff, very good breakfast buffet and a nice restaurant where we had schnitzel!

The price was good, and I could get there easily with a bus. The room cleaning was ok (not that I needed much). Also, due to some delays in the flights I arrived very late, and the reception was already closed, but they have left an envelope with all the needed details inside, so it was ok.

It is not in the center and there are not many things around, you will have to walk around 15 minutes to get something to eat.Also, the reception closing time suppose to be at 22:00, and I arrived at 21:10 a day before my leave in order to arrange my check out, but there was no one there.
