    Pros +

    • This was a lovely hotel beside a beautiful lake. Free parking was provided over the road. The room was well appointed overall and the food was wonderful.
    • Nice place with good parking, friendly staff, good service. Will definitely stop here again!
    • Clean and well appointed. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.

    Cons -

    • When the lights were turned off at night, there was no electricity so devices did not charge overnight. This was explained in the visitor information but I did not read that before going to bed.Service at the reception desk in the morning at checkout was very slow. I also became stuck in the lift and could not raise anyone.
    • Liked all, just thought the restaurant closed a bit early. Had a great meal at the neighbors instead!
    • Location - too far from town - fine in the summer but not in the winter when too cold to walk. I the winter you really need transport.

The location is great. The beds were comfy. Everything was very well cleaned.View on the lake in our room was nice.Hight quality Breakfast.

We stayed here from Saturday till Sunday in one of the rooms that are sold as “Junior Suites” on Booking.com. Our room looked very different compared to what was shown in the pictures online for this room category. It was a pretty ordinary larger room (no window side bathtub). So it looks like there is quite a bit of variation between the rooms in the junior suite category. The hotel was extremely busy with several larger family events/groups. We could hear noise from the other rooms late into the night. In the morning it was no surprise that the breakfast room was also extremely packed. There was quite a bit of waiting and finding an empty table was not trivial.

Really lovely stay. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Really nice walking trails nearby and so happy I could bring my dog.

It was nearly 30 degrees and the room didnt have any AC or fan so it did get very warm.

The room was excellent. The Staff were great and very helpful. The food was outstanding, we had an evening meal and the breakfast. The choice at breakfast was the best I have every been offered at a hotel.

breakfast was beyond with good coffee. The pillow was awesome for a good sleep. Great Location.

My room was very old, furniture and old carpet. looked nothing like the pictures!! very disappointing for the price I paid. unfortunately there were some very loud guest that night who talked very drunk and loud in the hallway at night.

Breakfast is good. Staff was friendly. Restaurant & reception in Riviera Maison style. Nice terrace outside with lake view.

I booked this hotel because of the beautifull rooms. But at the hotel I found out that I booked a room that was not renovaded and was totally different than the pictures I saw. Very disappointing! The complete second floor of the hotel is not renovaded so be aware! It's a 4 star hotel that lacks to be clear about the type of room (renovaded or not) you book. And a free cup of tea/coffee is not included in the room. Only at the renovaded floors there is a central "coffeecorner" available. There they charge you € 1,20 for a cup of tea....?. Normally you find a coffeemachine in your room for a free coffee/tea in a 4 star hotel.

Room and services good. A bit isolated but that’s the charm. There is a restaurant next door. Exceptional breakfast. Flower garden 40 minute walk. Ferry stop to Oldenburg right at hotel.

very nice, newly renovated furniture in the shared spaces, great location, great breakfast, great wellness area

-only the rooms in 1st floor are renovated, I got one of the old ones in 2nd floor.-reception desk is was not staffed at early morning an evening. Had to find someone in the restaurant to check in and check out

    nice restaurant

the room I had was real bad. An old bed that made a lot of noise. for this price it’s a rip off. When I was there last summer I had a modern room with balcony for the same price. I was really disappointed

Great location with a lush garden down the the peaceful lake. rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. night receptionist was a dream but morning receptionist was a bit short and cold.

They advertise the spa but i think it’s a separate company that is just connected by a door. Waited around in the morning to get a massage, the receptionist only had a rough time that one of the spa staff would arrive and when they finally did, it was fully booked all day.

    Clean Hotel, pleasant location.

We payed 50euro extra for a superior room, but it turned out that we just received a standard room seaside.

    - good and extensive breakfast- nice views of the lake- allowed to park de motorcycle close to the entrance- friendly staff

    - the slow elevator- payment for dinner was not possible at check-out

    Very good

My wife booked last minute for me and everything was great, until checkout. My wife had already prepaid the night and as I checked with the receptionist I was told the night hadn’t been paid for. Ok - maybe I had it wrong, I paid the full amount due. As my wife reconfirmed that she had already paid I went back to the receptionist to resolve the situation. Unfortunately the receptionist, didn’t have a word of apology, in fact quite rudely rechecked the paperwork and handed me money. - Makes me wonder weather this was intentionally?

    Asian staff was very friendly.

German staff at the reception desk was abrasive. This is not how you run a business in hospitality.
