    Pros +

    • Wonderful hotel, historic building right in the middle of the town, good rooms, beautiful breakfast room and great breakfast.
    • Very special
    • Location and historic building

    Cons -

    • Difficult to move around through small corridors. The spartan rooms, bare bones, look more like student than hotel rooms
    • The rooms are too large and empty. The bed is not very comfortable. There is no place in the bathroom to place your tooth brushes etc.
    • For a supposedly 4 star hotel it only had paper cups and wooden stirring sticks in the room. I would have preferred a ceramic cup and some spoons. The room is small, but that's in accordance with the price. But overall I was disappointed.

The location is great, the nice old building gives the taste of history. The staff was very forthcoming and nice.

    Location of the hotel.

There was a smell of furniture .I was not notified that there were high steps to my room, I had to carry my luggage to my room, which was a challenge for me.

Professional staff. Janet was extremely helpful, patient and accommodating during the check-in and throughout this day. Are you clean and comfortable room for the quiet and restful stay.

They should be rooms with queen beds instead of two double beds for solo travelers make it more comfortable.

Great location to bars and shops all within 5 to 15mins easy walking. The town itself is beautiful with beautiful little canal side bars and bistros. Very enjoyable 3 day stay at the hotel and the town.

Very nice big room. I asked for a room in which I could open the windows and got one with 3 and a great view.

No parking spot, 10 minutes walk with luggage, Bathroom very small with a low ceiling in the shower part, far too small compared to the size of the room, reception not gives you a very warm feeling, there were some people in the hotel that smoked hasjies

Good location, nice building, new room and a good breakfast.

Room was a bit ‘spartan’ with no couch, only 2 straight-up chairs, where there was plenty of space. We got a nice good breakfast, but why do hotels always give us lousy orange juice?

Nice location. Nice staff and clean room .

Very inconvenient if you have a car. Not possible to drive to hotel and drop of bag. No parking near hotel. Had to park in a parking garage 4-500 meters away which would be OK as long as you don't have bag to carry and the weather is good.

The location was perfect, the room was spacious, and the hotel is beautiful.

The receptionist was not helpful, no smile or welcome. She behaved as if we were bothering her when we checked in. We didn't even ask any questions, just wanted to check in. Otherwise, the hotel is wonderful.

    8GuyPosted on: 4-30-2025

The beds were comfortable and we slept quite well. The location was great and a lot of things to see very close by.

The room was very small, good if you don't plan on spending any time in it.

Location and price at the time!

Hotel was in the middle of restoration. Opposite historical building was also being restored. Very noisy very early in the morning. Hotel reception looked like horrendous.

    Location was excellent!

They didn't have a gym or similar facilities. Also the room was super big, but there was no large TV or bathtub for example, even tho there would have been plenty of room for such amenities.

The location is perfect. The room was clean. Staff is kind. You pay at the property. The bed was comfortable. The price is reasonable.

There was only a kettle, no coffee machine in the room. There was shortage of sparkling water, and if, they charge 3,45 Euros for 0,5 liters. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear even the buzzing of your neighbor’s phone, in the morning the door slamming is terrible. Fortunately I had really loud neighbors only on the last day, shouting on the corridor early in the morning.

    9TâniaPosted on: 3-24-2025

The location was excellent and the staff incredibly helpful and nice. The palace is being renovated so there was some construction materials but we were never bothered by them or by noise.

The bathroom light is an automatic bright light. If you need to go to the WC in the middle of the night you become awake pretty quickly with such a light. I would prefer to have the option of turning the light on and off.

Nice location, really in the centre. Was very pleasant and well maintained. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view.

Could use better ventilation in rooms with no opening windows.

    Everything..all great!

I need a window open @ all times in a room ,as I was in room 201 ,the windows do not open! So next time I stay in Fletchers I know now I can get a room with a window that does open?
