The fact that it was a self-service hotel was an amazing experience for us. The ambience, architecture, layout and overall ambience and vives were amazing. We absolutely fell in love with the concept and the facility.

Only challenge was parking entry as I was on an international number and the gates would not open via the app.

Everything went very smooth, the rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were super comfortable as well. I wish I could have stayed longer :)

The room was lovely and is very beautiful! It was clean. The location is fabulous! It is very close to the center and there are restaurants around. It was a very nice stay.

It surprised me that the room did not have a coffee machine or a tea pot. Instead, we could buy it downstairs from a machine. The coffee was really quite expensive. The machine had hot chocolate but that did not work so it was a hassle with the children. The breakfast consisted of yogurt bar and some croissants. Next time, I would not get the breakfast. Also, the wheelchair accessible entrance was in the back and that was slightly annoying to walk around each time. Neither of those things were a big deal though. The stay was lovely.

Nice decoration!Sustainable choices seen, which is AMAZING!, such as big bottles for soap, shampoo and body cream instead of litle tiny bottles. Also the bowls for the breakfast in molded fiber.The breakfast also very good! very complete, and everything just made! fresh, out of the oven

Love the fun vibe of the decor and the tasty breakfasts. I’m a big fan of the keyless system they use.

- I could hear every noise in the hallway- clean room at arrival, but the second day my room wasn’t cleaned- breakfast yogurt is delicious, but that’s the only option you have - parking in the street is very limited

Healthy breakfast on the whole. Good sized room but we did book a deluxe room. Easy check-in / -out. Door opening via a a secure web page so no keys to lose or forget. Great location in the centre of Leeuwarden so within easy walking distance of the central area.

The breakfast options were very limited so if it matched your eating preferences then ideal, if not then you would have to eat elsewhere. The pillows were one particular type, which was alright for me, but my girlfriend found hers uncomfortable and ended up with a sore neck. The room did not have a TV or wardrobe / hanging rail so not suitable for a lengthy stay when you would want to hang clothes and not leave them in your case. The hotel seems to be run on a shoestring to reduce costs and lacked the amenities found in other hotels.

We liked everything but there's some points of improvement:- Although breakfast was delicious it was limited to croissants, pain au chocolat and special yoghurt bowls. Missed some fruit and normal bread (especially for kids) .- Missed some basic facilities in the room like a kettle for example.

Clean and colourful. Fairly spacious. Nice bathroom product from Maria Stella Maris. Great location in the centre of the city.

It would have been nice to have a tea making facility. Shower seems calcified and needs seeing to. Bath-mat would be a nice addition.

Great interior, comfortable beds, great location.

No kettle in room, ah! No coffee on hand! no heated towel rail- necessary in family room with lots of towels!
