Post-Plaza Hotel & Grand Café

The staff was incredibly friendly! When we arrived we got an upgraded room and a small tour, which was just lovely! The room was clean and very nice, the bed was also very comfortable!

The room was modern and well-appointed.

It would have been nice if breakfast had been included. The room itself seemed dark, and the TV cabinet was hard to get around when open. Parking was inconvenient.

I have done a lot of traveling, and our suite at the Post Plaza Hotel was the nicest I have ever been in! It was large, well furnished, comfortable and clean. Our grandaghter stayed in a somewhat smaller room which was also very nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. Added benefits: It was an easy walk from the train station, even with luggage, and there are good restaurants close by for dinner. I would go back to Leeuwarden just to stay in this hotel!

I thought the breakfast was just so-so, especially for the price. But my husband and grand-daughter liked it.

Pretty much everything! Good size room, very clean and it felt luxurious. Breakfast was great as well.

The price...that was quite steep that weekend! (Mid june).

Did not like the dirty tables during breakfast. Had a hard time finding a clean table to sit and enjoy our meal.

It is a really lovely hotel. Beautiful building with a great history. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great staff. It is centrally located, close to the train station, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Very walkable. The hotel has a lovely coffee shop, which also serves breakfast, which we really enjoyed. The quality of the produce was excellent.

Being really picky, it would have been nice to have more control over the temperature of one of our two rooms (the control pad was taped up and so couldn't be altered). However, this did not mar our experience. We would stay again.

Very nicely decorated and comfortable hotel in the city centre. The facilities are spacious and the overall environment is very calm. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was fresh and varied. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Hairdryer was very underpowered and pretty much useless. It would be appreciated to have drinking water provided in the bedrooms.

Beautiful building

Stairs were difficult too find to the first floor. Elevator took awhile to get around when alot of people needed it

Old post office perfectly preserved. We love the atmosphere.

It was very busy in the hotel on Friday with 2 parties going on so for hotel guests like us there was almost no space to relax and have dinner in the hotel.

on our second night the bar area was closed for both food and drink. if we had been told this before hand we probably wouldn't have stayed there that night and was so noisy

Breakfast price and the gym was only avalible if you rented their personal trainer

Lovely hotel. We loved the Grand Cafe and Restaurant where we shared afternoon tea with some family members. We loved the admosphere. Dutch Cuisine dinner in the evening was delicious!

Perfect location, good size room as well booked the suite for family (actually the suite is for 2 people but can easily fit 3 with extra bed option we chose due to our daughter) which had personal sauna & jacuzzi, staff was very helpful & friendly. Amazing food at the cafe on the menu, we chose breakfast included but was just standard nothing to complain about. The coffee was fantastically delicious, they roast their own beans, we bought some for home as well!The hotel, cafe & room were very clean. Great ambiance at the cafe as well.

Everything here was more than I could have wanted! The staff, the location, the restaurant (delicious!) the service in all of it was impeccable! So much so, that I am hosting an international event here next year. Thank you!

I had to change rooms because the room in the Post building couldn't open windows and had no air conditioning for my menopausal body. We were switched to a bank room, which was simpler, but the windows opened.

The building, room including jacuzzi and sauna, gym and breakfast!
