Hotel Am Stadtpark

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that, instead of the triple room we reserved, we were given an entire apartment, complete with kitchen, laundry, and lovely little deck out from the dormer apartment, perfect for enjoying morning coffee! It was very spacious for 3 adults, it was spotless, and the welcoming amenities so appreciated! Free on-site parking was included (but rarely available). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return!

The bed for our 3rd person was a fold out futon, we think, and had an iron bar across the middle of the mattress that made it quite uncomfortable to sleep on. The apartment was no smoking, which was great, but the hallway we walked down had a strong cigarette odor, and smoke smells came up into our apartment windows from the courtyard which our room overlooked.

Hotel was clean, quiet, in the heart of downtown Buxtehude, breakfast was wonderful and staff accommodating. They had a washing machine and a small balcony...very charming and comfy.

The room was a type of studio apartment and my only issue was we were on the top floor with the slanted roof and it was extremely hot during the morning and afternoon hours.

The Staff is really helpful and friendly, Rooms get cleaned everyday. The Hotel Location is really close to variety of other restaurants and supermarkets. Really recommend this Hotel for the saty in Buxtehude.

Location, clean, friendly, good size room and bathroom, quiet. It's our 3rd stay at this hotel. Would book again.

A little overpriced for a slightly outdated hotel

Well equipped spacious apartment in between regular apartments. The main bed very comfortable, the extended sofa less so but but we had all we needed in a clean place with a frühstück lady that guided us at a very central location.

The noise from the street and the sea gulls was a little disturbing. As we slept under the roof, it was hot, and we had to keep the windows open. But it was ok.

Big and clean family rooms.. Plenty of space for the kids to enjoy their freedom. Good breakfast, and I got very nice green tea while hubby got very nice coffee? A great way to start up the day??Rooms a little too warm tho & staft. We needed to air out often..Location was perfect! Nice little town with a variety of shops and different ethnic food restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were careful to show me round everything (I needed to store my bicycle) and I liked how close to town it was, yet quite private and discreet.

Minor thing - on a cycling trip, spend all night charging up devices and there were no USB plugs to plug devices straight into. (Luckily I had brought my own)

Even though there was a fan, the room was very warm.. Only blinds , no blackout blinds/curtains.

The regional breakfast was really delicious. Our room was quite large, comfortable and perfectly clean.
