Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel

Location was superb. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Restock for towels, coffee, sugar and creamer was inconsistent. The hotel did not provide wash cloths.

Beautiful hotel with a lot of character! Very comfortable room. Quiet location on inner courtyard. They were so kind and changed the location of our room for us!

Location mostly

We reserved double room which is described as one double bed. They give us two separate bed which is not the same. When I went back to reception the blond girl was quite rude and she tried to convince me that it's the same. We just need to put the beds together. And they aren't any free rooms in the hotel from the basic category. So we need to pay for un upgrade in order to get what we booked. After 10min of arguing she gave up and give me what we booked.

No car parking, had to park 15 mine walk away in a city garage.

Location is good but very difficult to park.

The parking offered by the hotel costs 25€ per day. There are less expensive public parkings in the city not far from the hotel. (E.g. Parkhaus Coulinstrasse costs 16€ per day). They charge your credit card with some extra money above the room price (in my case 40€) and I am still waiting for the reimbursement... sending emails and making phone calls to the reception... incredible.

Rooms were small and not so pleasant. Bathrooms are average.

The location was great. The room was a bit strange.

There was a fire alarm and a lack of communication about procedures.

The are around the sink in the bathroom to place cosmetics etc was very small (we had a superior room), that was the only thing I didn’t necessarily like.

The spa closed too early, the bathroom was very small, no heated towel rail. Staff at reception were not that friendly and always too busy to ask any questions of. Single beds each in an odd shaped room. Old hotel. Restaurant/bar opens too late. Tv cabinet is too low to lie in bed and watch tv.

Location is perfect for us very near the city centre The staff go above and beyond when dealing with any issue

Can’t really comment in this box any issue is resolved with minimal fuss so still have nothing we don’t like

The hotel is great and it's not the first time we've stayed here, but this time the experience wasn't what we expected.

The room had a strong sewer smell. We stayed two nights and there was no solution.

This is my favorite hotel in Germany since 2014 . Even If I will travel to other cities in Germany, I have to pass by the hotel & stay for couple of days..

The receptionist, Ms. Rossit, was excellent, very friendly, efficient and gave some wonderful dining recommendations.

The pillows were terrible. They were extremely flat, even when using 2 pillows and had no support.

Prefer a shower to a bathtub/shower combo. Tub was kind of slippery too
