Well located hotel, quiet room despite being beside a busy road. Very comfortable bed. Excellent quality food in the restaurant. Welcoming staff that were English speaking.

Instructions about the drinks in the fridge - were they complimentary or did they incur a charge. The fridge missed a clean between hotel guests.

The staff at the reception is sometimes in the evening unavailable in the evening. I was waiting with 3 other hotel guests for 10 minutes in front of the door at 22:40

Immaculate hotel with really good rooms and bar areas

It's on an industrial estate but we were only using it as a stop before Channel crossing so didn't matter to us.

Lovely welcoming hotel, friendly staff, nice clean rooms, breakfasts each morning were great, lots of choices. Didn't realise tho that no dining on a Sunday evening tho as kitchen closed but reception staff were very helpful in suggesting delivery options for food and we were able to still eat in the bar area, so all good, bonus too was getting a voucher each for 1 free drink each in thd bar. Great hotel for our visits to the WW1 battlefields sites and easy location and despite being near a busy road soundproofing was excellent for good night's sleep

The staff on reception said we ad paid the wrong price for our stay and that breakfast shouldn't be included as it was too cheap!I was asked not to argue, but I had proof of the booking which clearly stated with breakfast. After travelling for several hours, I was tired and didn't want to argue anyway. When we had got to our room, the phone rang and the receptionist said she had clarified the booking with her boss which had been agreed that we did indeed have bought breakfast in with our stay. If the booking says with breakfast then surely there isn't any argument. I was a little bit surprised by what shouldn't have happened.

It was not clean , i did report it but nothing was done, dead flies on the wall

The staff were mainly friendly. Everything about the place was OK and the steaks we had for dinner were amazing.

The place is a business venue and probably lacks the hospitality focus that would suit holiday rather than business travellers. compared with the Mercure in Saarbrucken where we stayed the previous night it certainly was not worth the premium. by

Nescafe powdered coffee sachets??!! In a Mercure? Moody snobby bar/restaurant staff. Towel rail in shower-room at eye/temple height when you turn at sink - OUCH!!! Too noisy aircon. Window only opening inches. Window blind that can't be rolled up or removed! No coffee machine. No USB sockets. Stark led lighting.

Lovely big room with excellent shower, big bathroom, big comfy bed. Safe place to store our bikes. Really helpful woman at reception who helped me send a parcel, very kind. The lady when checking out was also kind and keen to know what we recommend in the local area as tourists passing through.

Location, not the easiest to find but worth it. New fresh facilities well maintained, good parking , excellent food and bar.

There was nothing to dislike

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and I couldn’t recommend the breakfast enough (many vegetarian- and vegan-friendly options as well). The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I found a few silverfish in the bathroom but it was no big issue (and the hotel staff promised to take care of it as soon as I informed them).

Overall the Hotel was very clean and well prevented. Very informative staff on arrival with clear information. The design of the location was easy to manage and excellent for business travelers who want a comfortable rest and a great breakfast to start their day.

The room I was assigned was a bit untidy with ruffled sheets on the bed. I thought initially that someone was sitting on it before I arrived. There was no shower gel in the shower, luckily I brought my own.
