Hotel Mercedes - Self Check-In

The bed was comfortable, and I slept well both nights we were in residence.

Check-in was stressful, due to the automatic check-in kiosk not having our information. We managed to make contact with a human, who then updated the system so we could get our key, but the hiccup and the time needed to correct it had us thinking that we might need to find another option on the fly, after 20h00 on a Friday night. Another gripe we had was with regard to the breakfast setup, which was quite plain plain and under-attended. At 10€, the price was low in comparison to other such facilities we have stayed at in the region over the past few years, but despite that we absolutely did not get what we paid for.Finally, the wifi was just plain awful. It was spotty, slow, and just about useless, causing me to instead use my phone as a Hotspot.

Everything was great, especially the staff and the location.The room was big enough for 2 people and it was equipped with necessary appliances.The check-in was supper easy and through a self-check-in device next to hotel door.There is a reasonably priced parking just next door.

The room could be cleaner. Breakfast could be much more varied.

All was super goodTiny little detail: no air conditioning but it was not that hot inside even if outside was like 35 Celsius

Very big room, perfectly suited for week long trip for one or two persons. Delicious breakfast and very easy self check-in in case of late arrival. Hotel is just next to Hofgarten only 10 minutes from the city center, but still really quite

The reception was open only until 18 o'clock, although the Internet information read until 20 o'clock.

Very clean, fresh and well-maintained facilities. Room was comfy and bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice and decent coffee. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the Arithmeum

There was no kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. An English-language TV news channel would have been useful.

The location of the property is excellent. We can travel everywhere by bike - we did not use any form of public transport within the city.And it feels quiet even it is in the city

The room service does not speak German and I have to ask my daughter to speak for me sometimes

Its clean . Its clean , quite and not far from the city center . Drinks can also be taken from the fridge and paid during check out .

Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful , I like them ❤️

The bed was not comfortable and a towel was unfortunately not clean enough

Easy check in and out. Great location.

The bathroom was a bit outdated, could have more storage.

Adequate room with plenty of space, desk, heating you could adjust. The staff was so nice, we had left some valuable jewelry and they found and kept it for us.

The separate single mattress instead of a queen size mattress. The towels were a bit worn out

good size room with great bed and very clean. there are stairs to climb and a lobby is closed at night but unlocked by keycard .carpark is just next door and one can park there for 15euros but do ask a worker who is just sitting in a small office. location is right smack in Bonn and next to the park and university. nice polite staff and very helpful. the area is safe at night as we were walking home after a concert

no coffee making facility

Great quiet location just outside town. 5 minutes walk. Nice communal terrace for smoking

The space

The impossible front door to the apartment. It wouldn't unlock easily and was very heavy. The poor sound proofing so you could hear the people in the apartment next to and above you. The street noise. The lack of staff after 6pm.

Everything was extremly clean. Quiet location close to the Hbf and city center. Well connected to transportation. Recommended to stay.

The staff was good and helpul on the queries, nevertheless they could smile a little bit more.

It is near the central train station and also near the Rhein river, both within 15 min walk. Moreover, it is in a very quiet district. The room is very spacious.

There is no kettle for boiling water.

the instructions to open the apartment door need to be clearer ie sometimes but not always have to turn the same knob to make it open - however help was quickly available via phone

Small bit compact and has everything. Breakfast was nice too.They also tend to special requests well.

There were spider webs all around.
