Rheinland Hotel

Free drinks day and night (soft drinks, beer and wine). Lovely breakfast and rooms were super cute. Loved the themes. Also great location to walk to everything in Bonn.

The hotel people are very nice and it was an option instead of paying the exorbitant prices for some of the other Bonn Hotels. If you arrive after 8:00pm they send you instructions about getting in the front door and into your room. The person answered right away, but the back and forth through Booking was at times confusing and included form emails.

The hotel room was tiny and bare. Not necessarily an issue but for the price I was paying I expected more. Saying the breakfast was simple is an understatement. Nothing at all hot, not even cold hard boiled eggs. They could have done a lot better.

Great theme hotel. I stayed in the Vatican room, which tends to be quite scary in the first night, duebto its furniture :) But the room is comfortable and the breakfast is great. Wonderful location, too.

Conveniently located, friendly staff, great breakfast. We enjoyed being surprised by the themed room (Vatican). The location was perfect…just a few minutes to walk to town or to the river.

Exactly what I needed - a small, clean, and comfortable place for my stopover. The space was tight but there is more than enough room for 1 person and their stuff if the plan is to be out exploring the city for most of your time. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was basic but tasty, and service was super friendly.

Street facing room was very noisy when the window was open. Not a problem in colder months as the shut window blocked out the noise but would probably be annoying in warmer months.

Very well situated and such a friendly team of staff. The hotel is fascinating with its themed rooms and photo displays of famous meetings between German leaders and other world figures. Pleasant balcony on the quiet side of the hotel.

Limited parking facilities so we were lucky to get one of only two spaces. Not an easy problem for the hotel, however, given its urban location.

The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, although late one morning which caused problems with my schedule.

I stayed in April. My very small single room was hot, but i was unable to open the window due to the constant traffic noise below. However, the issue that concerned me the most was the cleanliness of the room, including the chair which could only be described as filthy. This is one of those hotels where I cannot understand the overall rating; I will not be back.

Breakfast is good. Thank you so much for my request for gluten-free breads. Next time hope the some eggs could be half done

Very friendly staff!! I have nothing to complain about, only the rooms are a tiny bit noisy. I heard the neighbour snoring, but it was okay.

We stayed during the Bonn Marathon and the roads were closed during the day of our checkout. The staff was super friendly and let us stay in our room well past the normal checkout time when the roads re-opened.

Ok quality but poor breakfast variety for the price.But narrow beds...Mix up with parking that should have been available.Fortunately on bank holidays it is free at the roads around.

Near the centre of Bonn

Unfortunately you cannot park in front of the hotel and their garage on the back of the hotel offers space for 2 cars only. You have to take the Theater Garage next door which is a bit costly. Still. Safe and only 3 minutes walk away.

The location is at the heart of Bonn City and nearby numerous restaurants and shops. Close walk to nearby train station. The room is decent size for single traveller. The room is nicely design and fit nicely for single traveller.

Breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful. Location was really good, just cross the road to the central pedestrian streets of Bonn. Clean room.

The hotel entrance looks like the entrance of a block of apartments so there is no access to the inside where the hotel is located unless the door is opened from the first floor. I waited for 10 minutes to get the door opened after ringing the doorbell and calling on their phone line. It was quite upsetting for me to wait and not know if there is anybody to open. It was the only negative experience for me in the hotel as the staff is very friendly and helpful.

A little noise and very warm. While we found the room theme mildly amusing, I suspect guests from other (non Roman Catholic) religions might have found the "Vatican Room" a little overwhelming /offensive

Easy parking close to the hotel.

Hotel information stated that there was beer in room 201. The fridge there was empty and switched off. No problem but why say that there are drinks available when clearly there were not. I told the staff at breakfast who thanked me for telling them , but clearly this fact was known to them.The room bin still had rubbish in it , which brought a smile to my face!I shall return to this hotel on my next visit to Bonn as it is close to the town.
