Hotel Savoy Bonn

Staff wonderful and accommodating.

No air conditioning. some nights were warm. Had to open the windows but I faced the street and most times it was quite noisy. I had to go to the lobby to work as the wifi in the room was very poor.

Excellent location, nice breakfast, kind staff

Staff were great, the location is very central to most things and it was spotlessly clean

No airconditioning and a glass stairwell heating the upper floors to unbearable temperatures during the day. We were there for three hot days and we had to stay out of the room till 9pm each night, just to be able to manage it. We were given a fan but it really didn’t help much.Also it is the first time I have stayed in a hotel anywhere and there hasn’t been a kettle in the room to make yourself a drink :(Breakfast was really poor. There was cereal, eggs, meat slices and cheese as you would expect but the fruit was just a few skinny slices on a side plate (and who thought chopping a banana up into little chunks on a plate was a good idea in the heat?), and the ‘yoghurt’ was some watery, sugary thing that was obviously the cheapest thing they could find.It’s a shame because the staff were very accommodating, and you can tell in its hey day this was a nice hotel. It desperately needs some modernising. Bathrooms were absolutely fine and the mattresses were brand new.

Well kept tidy hotel. Family run, friendly and competent hoteliers. Keep it up!

Turned down accommodation due to them wanting to photo copy because of my personal security. Other hotels just asked to see my passport as proof of identification.I want a follow up on this and should have my fee refunded due to the cancellation policy.Hopefully I'll get a response from booking.

The Service, The bed was really comfortable , location was good also

Lift was very small. Or our pushchair is too big. All the rest was as we expected

The room was big enough for two people to be comfortable, and the balcony provided it with some extra flair. The bathroom was also nice enough. Location was close to everything important. Value for the money was excellent in comparison to other hotels in the area.

They do not clean on weekends if there are not enough guests.

Nice hotel in 15 minutes walking from the central railway station. The room was clean and cozy with a balcony.

The price was too high for that level of comfort. But everything else was ok.

Great location and friendly staff, with a metro stop within 1-2 mins of walking.

There was no a/c or fan in the room, and because of the shape of the room, it was extremely hot even at night.

My room on the 5th floor was too hot in summer. The fan is not enough and noisy

Everything was good. The staff, breakfast and location was all good

Our balcony was shared with another room, where we dint know that person.

Walking is a good thing!..near to everything, clean room, friendly vibes..and nice breakfast too...good catch?..indeed!...shout out to the friendly lady in the reception...smile!

This was my third stay at the hotel. Everything was as per expectation. Breakfast was good. My room was on the inner side with a balcony. It was a quiet room.

The Lady at Reception was very friendly and very helpful. She spoke good English
