Domicil Hotel Bonn

Nothing hotel was shit i have never seen anything in my life very dirty very dusty it was disgusting , the Shower curtain was very dirty and fully Molded , the wall of bathroom was dirty as hell it was moldy and all Yellow and black mold .

The property did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The bathroom was dirty with visible mold, and the staff did not respond properly to my complaint.

The price and location was convenient, the room was also spacy and nice.

The room had a very noisy running water in the radiator that could not be fixed even though the person tried.The duvet was missing when I entered but was brought when asked. The bed was too soft, it was ok for one person, but two would have fallen in a pit in the center.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. The location was very convenient--to the U-Bahn, train station, and Center of Bonn, and it was quiet.

The shower was horrible; the water didn't stay at one temperature (kept going from hot to cold to scalding), and you had to hold the shower thing as it would stay up. They need to fix their plumbing. Also, the breakfast was fine, but it's in the restaurant next door (which is OK), but it is dark--no one needs mood lighting for breakfast. Also, the lighting in the room was a bit dim (fine for holiday, but not for a work trip).

The mail receptionist was very helpful. He stayed overtime until I returned so my phone could be charged.

The hotel was very dated. My room was not comfortable at all. The bed was up very steep flight of stairs to a loft area. The treads on the stairs were very narrow, so I needed to step sideways so that my foot could fit on them. It felt very unsafe The ceilings were low in the loft and I could not stand upright in some area. It was a very small room and one of the worst that I stayed in after five weeks of traveling. It was very overpriced.

The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable and it was clean, nice & central location

-bathtub was a bit small/short-reservation says room inlcudes airconditioning, but the airconditioning was not working! it was a very hot weekend that weekend.-staff knocked on the door at 10.30 ish already to clean the room.while check out is at 11am

People in the lobby extremely friendly. I am an LGBTQ person. The personnel, of different cultures and heritages, were extremely friendly and "not blinking". Thanks!Extremely well connected by public transport, excellent.

Essential breakfast, possibly the improvement point.The room had only a single roll of toilette paper, if rooms are not checked daily, possibly this is ... Limiting sometimes. The sink was dropping water. Can be nerving for noise-sensitive people (not my case, but know a few)

Perfect location and generally quiet place although there was a lot of noise from the adjoining building due to an overnight party!!! The result was poor sleep at that night.

The rooms are not cleaned well. Also one has to define every how many days there will be room service! For example one has to inform the front desk that there is need for room service every other day.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the big tub was great to soak in after a day if walking.

The room was a bit rundown. A lampshade was missing, the walls were dingy/dinged/stained looking, the bathtub didn’t drain well, and the shower head would not stay in place, making it difficult to shower. Thank goodness the windows were great quality blocking out noise, as the room was facing a busy street. Someone had been smoking in the hallway, which wasn’t pleasant to walk through in our way to our room.

Τhe location of the hotel,friendly and very kind stuff, room temperature was very good.An unexpected surprise was the musical enenings in the hall of the hotel...lovely experience!

Some rooms of the hotel need a service.

Conveniently situated near the train station and the historic town center. A very comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. The water flow from the tap in the bathroom was very weak.

Very well located within walking distance from the train station and the town centre. There is a quirky but pleasant lounge area on the ground floor.

No kettle to make tea. Very small bathroom. Nearly scolded myself a few times as the shower suddenly went really hot.

I enjoyed being so centrally located in the city. Right near the Christmas Markets.

The breakfasts were a bit expensive . . . but they were very good.

The hotel had a funky shabby chic ambience. The tub was big. The location and the price were great. The mattress was comfortable and there were enough pillows.

The desk person was a bit rude. Wouldn't even look up or acknowledge our presence until we all walked up and stood right in front of him. Then was very awkward and made excuses for the lights in our room flashing non-stop, instead of just changing our room. Our first room was huge, had to move for a lighting issue, and the second was not so much, but it was adequate.

I had an amazing time at Domicil Hotel, the staff is very nice and professional. I enjoyed the breakfast and the beautiful decoration. I'm used to travel a lot in Bonn and this hotel is my favorite by far! highly recommended

Very loud street noise during the night. Had to use earplugs. 2 hairdryers in the room, none of them working.

I really liked the room, the bed was very comfortable.The breakfast room was also very nice and clean and the breakfast was very delicious.

There was mold between the bathroom tiles, it looked like they weren't used to cleaning it with a brush. The bathtub was clean.

The beds were comfy

The room was not super tidy. Plus, the day of the checkout the stuff knocked to see if I was still in the room because they wanted to clean up before the time of checkout. Very unprofessional.

Location

There were construction works going on in the hotel (not indicated anywhere) that woke us up in the morning. Everything is quite old, especially the shower and sink that did not work well and made a weird noise. Probably because of the carnival, but we could also hear loud live music until late.

The hotel has a nice design and was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking extra nights if you need to at the reception desk since they offered a better rate. The location was close to everything.

The wifi tends to go off for a few seconds from time to time, maybe couse my room was in the corner there's a weaker signal. And the electric sockets are in not the most convenient places.

Location was good and the personnel tried to help.

The problem is the hotel was undergoing complete renovations, therefore it was like staying at a construction site. It was half-done, or half-ruined, and we had no A/C and no running water, so we had to use a separate bedroom for the shower. They moved us for the second night but it was so hot we just threw the mattress on the floor and slept there. I gathered than in our floor the construction team was living since they had signs in Polish all over the corridors.
