Great location, good parking, nice property, and great staff

A little expensive for what you get

The Insel Hotel is nice, with pleasant staff to greet us even up to 18:30 or so. Our two rooms were close together and clean, and we slept well.

It was a little hard to find the front door using GPS as the road may have been cut off for a walking-only area; we found a back parking lot entrance which worked.

Clean room with AC. Good breakfast and lunch facilities. Quiet surroundings, and U-Stadtbahn station close by.

Everything at top level, super comfortable stay with family. Even though the building is old, everything inside is new. Breakfasts are very good, parking is very convenient.

It’s a perfectly balanced hotel

The area is scary. Full of mugs in the evening. I was intimidated by several Indic while coming back to the hotel. They approached me and started abusing me. Their main argument was that my „Slavic face“ was to white for their town.

Excellent staff, clean and well equipped gym. Homely feel and great breakfast.

Nice and comfortable place locate in a little plaza with a Christmas Market and close to a castle- Restaurant with beautiful view

In theory the place has a spa but it could be only used in the afternoon until 21:00. So, if you arrive late you can’t use it when you arrive or in the morning.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Insel in Bonn! The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, making it a true home away from home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bonn for its outstanding hospitality and memorable experience.

Insel Hotel has the most delicious, wonderful variety of food for breakfast. The space was large and you could also sit in the main dining room. My son travels a lot for business and said this was the nicest breakfast he’s had!

The room had AC which is what we really wanted. It is in a great location if you want to explore Bad Godesberg. The breakfast was extensive and really delicious.

The shower was very tight and splashed water out onto the floor. Not such a big deal, but I couldn’t imagine trying to shower a child in there if they were small enough to still need help.

Small rooms and crowded

The room was lovely and cool with ceiling fan and was also very well equipped with TV, Drink machine and Fridge.The breakfast was amazing everything you could possibly want and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.The location was perfect in the town centre plenty of shops and restaurants also park across the road for a nice walk.We will definitely be going back.

Hotel was top quality with big,clean, comfortable rooms . Food was great at restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.

Hotel and breakfast are in good level

The day I was leaving, I had to put my luggage in the reception for a few hours. When I came back, I asked the receptionist where could I change my clothes (I was wearing a formal business suit), and he answered me "you can do it in the street". I was shocked of such unpolite answered. On top of that, it was not true because there's a big toilet on the 1st floor and I finally used that in order to change my clothes (without saying nothing to the rude employee).
