    Pros +

    • Spacious and well equipped Fitness and Spa with big basin and big sauna, everything included in my case.. Excellebt breakfast, nice staff (some in training).
    • We stayed in a spacious suite with two beds and a kitchen, and it fully met our expectations in terms of room size and facilities - exactly what we needed. The location isn’t super central, but it’s still very walkable—around 10–15 minutes to the main Christmas markets and the Beethoven Museum, and about 5–7 minutes from the train station (even though we didn’t use the train). I also appreciated gluten-free bread options available at breakfast.
    • It is historical and nice looking. All the functional facilities are modern and convenient. Swimming pool and sauna are very well maintained. Room is spacious

    Cons -

    • Not to my personal dislike, but you need to be aware: This hotel is affiliated to a home for elderly people. So it is rather elderly and handicapped friendly than a meeting place for ravers. But I also met families with small children.
    • Some of the facilities felt a bit outdated, and there were noticeable stains on the window curtains. Breakfast was decent, but I would have appreciated more fresh greens and vegetables. Also, the hotel is on a one-way street, which sometimes added extra time due to detours.

Short walk from train station. Short walk to restaurants and coffee shops/ bakeries. Helpful front desk staff.

Quiet, very clean , close to restaurants

The staff were vey friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and quiet.

The WiFi was dropped as we walked to on part of the property to another.

A strange hotel - a combination of hotel and retirement living units all mixed together. Very nice, clean rooms but an odd combination

I arrived late and left early so I have no knowledge of this hotel’s food services. The location is a 15” walk from downtown.

Both the bathroom and room itself were spacious and very comfortable. There was generous storage space in both. They even included a bathrobe and slippers! There was a balcony and a lounge chair with light for reading. It was lovely!

The WIFI cut out frequently, so I constantly had to reenter my room number and name. The hairdryer was also very old, though it still worked well.

    Location and very nice facility.

There was a water problem when we came back after dinner one night and could not take a shower, brush our teeth or even flush the toilet. Never heard of it was planned or a last minute problem.

Perfect location . Not far from train station and the tramp. Had a good breakfast but the towels smelled a bit damp.

I was surprised to share the building with elderly residents.

Excellent location, friendly and professional staff, clean and quality food served in the restaurant.

    8ThomasPosted on: 1-16-2025

Very spacious roomIdeal location close to the train stationNot a chain, not a boutique hotel either. An interesting mix between a retirement place and a hotel.

Room not very modern, especially the bathroom

The whole experience was lovely: excellent location, friendly staff, spacious and very clean room, comfy beds, fab breakfast and lovely pool snd sauna.

The pillows were flat but that is common in European hotels. It would’ve been better to have two large fluffy pillows but it may just be a personal preference.

Well located within an easy walk of the centre, Christmas Market and train station. Very clean and well presented hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was a very generous size with plenty of space.Parking opposite the hotel that is inexpensive at 6 euros a day although you have to find a space.

Breakfast....don't bother! 20 euros per person for a few hot plates, some cereals meats and cheeses. Very "school dinners". Very over priced and not value for money. Avoid it and go into the centre where there are plenty of options from 9am.Parking ...Beware. There are two car parks very close by and both listed on the hotel website. However, one is 25 euros a day and one is 6 euros per day! The cheaper is the closer one, called City Parking.

    8AssafPosted on: 12-1-2024

The room was spacious and the location, while not at the heart of the city center, is still relativity a short walking distance from it. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room is cleaned only every 48 hours, which did not meet my expectation for this prices range and my type of hotel. The bed was sort of ok but not perfectly comfortable.

Great location, bit outdated and hotel combined with a home for elderly was a bit strange.

Brealfast for €20 is way too much.

    2HermanPosted on: 8-26-2024

Location good, the hotel is part of a hospital / old age home which in itself is great but the room was a hospital room and the level of comfort pretty low. Also the reception tried to hide the fact it was more a hospital and with € 350:is completely overpaid …

    See before, hospital,like comfort

    6LinorPosted on: 8-12-2024

The location is really good and the rooms at the garden level have really nice (even though tiny) patios.

The property absolutely needs to be renovated. I must say that the photos are very deceiving because you cannot even guess how old the place and facilities are.The room (at least mine) was not equipped with a mini fridge, nor with AC - while the staff was very kind to provide a fan on a hot day.
