Cons -
- Not friendly - poor facilities - dirty
- Was charged twice for the breakfast during check in. When I pointed this out, I was told "that's how it should be". Had to look up my booking.com confirmation and argue, was eventually refunded for the excess I paid.
- It was small and cramped. We had booked through booking.com but the amount of the rebooking appeared to be higher than the amount advertised on the door. The bathroom doors were hard to close and you could barely move.Staff were not helpful or willing to engage in conversation.

Excellent customer service!!!!!!! Praise to them for staying open longer so we could check in. Beds are very comfortable (though not really built for tall Dutch ppl ?) and breakfast was very decent as well.
The curtains kept the room really dark. True black out!

Definitely the cheapest place in town.
THe room was tiny, not particularly clean and smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathroom was something you would find in a ships berth. Burn holes in the quilt is a bit of a turn off.
Useful location for us visiting de panne in Belgium
Very dirty under the beds and on top of the light shades we found used cigarette ends and ash which we had to clean ourselves
Not much
There was no air conditioning as advertised as had not been available for some time. The manager was completely unconcerned about this nor had any intention of offering any mediation for the heat.
Easy location
I had booked a triple room (three beds) however this wasn't available when we arrived.
The bed functioned correctly and the breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly when they arrived.
There were rats running around the property, it was run down and not maintained at all well, there were some exposed electrics and the remains of police tape across my bedroom door making me wonder what kind of crime had been committed there. It felt like a waiting house for prospective migrants, the smell of weed hung around the building, the toilet roll holder had been ripped from the wall and there were cigarette or roach burns on the carpet and the edge of the bathroom sink. The bedside light was badly damaged. Reception was locked and there were no staff to check us in when we arrived in the afternoon so we had to wait nearly an hour for someone to show up. The first room we tried didn’t have working lights. The place smelled unclean and unsafe for my family.
Very disappointed, such a shame as it was a great place for a stopover or short stay
After using the property for short trips for several years and being satisfied with its basic but clean facilities. This time however we found the property very run down, scruffy and poorly maintained especially after coming straight from your hotel in Bayeaux which was excellent, and are sorry to say, we would neither recommend or wish to stay in future,it really was that bad.
Just enough for one night in Dunkirk. Not too special, but good enough for solo traveller. I appreciated I could get warm water for tea at the reception.
Cheap and the staff were friendly
The check in time was limited.
Next to supermarketsIdeal for one night and when you just want a place to sleepShower has very good temperature (it wasn't cold)
Smell of sigaretsmoke Very small bathroomWater out of sink was not cleanDon't take the breakfast and go to the supermarket next door
The accommodation was basic (as expected) but it was also poorly maintained (heater hanging off wall for example.
Better maintenance of facilities
We stayed for 1 night only, to get ferry next morning. easy to get to the hotel by car. The room just about fitted family of three in, and the beds are comfy. Room was clean and was cheap. Staff on reception friendly enough. hyper market and restaurant very near which was handy. also a microwave in the "common area" useful too
The room just had a lot of small maintenance issues. all of the lights where missing their covers, the thermostat hanging off the wall and had exposed wires, the tv wire had been bent so had to fiddle with it to get it to work. The toilet and shower was an all in one prefab unit, very small, and no holder for the shower head. when you had a shower the whole floor filled up with water overflowing to to the toilet. Really odd that these things are not fixed. I know it was cheap but these are things that should just be repaired no matter what and was all a bit weird
Cheap, only needed it for a few hours Was quiet enough, does what you need
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
I don't expect luxury from a Premier Classe, but a basic clean room. This one was disappointing. The bedcover was stained and had cigarette burns. Also the floor was very dirty.
1. We could park quite close.2. We arrived quite late (9PM-10PM) but still reception was open.3. Compared to our expectations (due to ratings) everything was clear and cosy.4. Beds were comfortable.5. At our night (we slept there only 1 night) eveything was calm and not noisy.
In the bathroom there is not enough space for 2 people. You have to play sokoban in the room if you are 3 or 4.
Rubbish
Noisy, guests were loud, room run down
