Mercure Hotel Aachen AM Dom

Close to attractions.

No ironing board or iron. Limited space.

Central location, very easy to get to all of the areas I needed. There is a cab stand directly across the street and the bus station is only 1 block over. Also, a 12 minute walk to the train station.

The hotel is located on a main street very near an area that has a lot of night life. There were several nights that it was rather loud into the wee hours of the morning.

Very nice visit, I slept really great in that comfortable bed!

As a hotel chain Mercure offers a standard of service. Facilities were, clean, bed comfortable, the room was in a good condition, breakfast was quite tasty and had enough varieties. Reception staff was very polite and helpful. They quickly resolved my issue when I had to leave my baggage after the check-out. Hotel is located in the old city, so you will have a great access to all sightseeings, public transport. You can reach the main train station in a 13-15 minutes walk.

As located in the city center, hotel is facing quite busy street, so it could be a bit nosy if to open the window. But of course it can be clearly seen on the google maps etc. Of course not a property’s fault. Just a fact to consider if it really matters.

Location and cleanliness

Room to hot, only one pillow (not comfortable) which overall didn’t give me a good night sleep

Great location with a super kind staff. Breakfast is really worth and nice. My room faced the main street, however soundproof was good and also light isolation curtains were super nice. I had a great time there

There could be a small frigo in the room, but for the price , i think it's ok

Spotlessly clean room. The location of the hotel is ideal and the staff professional and helpful. I would definitely choose Mercure hotel again and I would highly recommend it!

I would prefer a coffee machine in the room instead of a kettle. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Very central location in Aachen. Its located on the main road, near to various modes of transport and accessible to mamy restaurants and tourists attractions.

Nothing much except that would have preferred firm pillows but that is personal preference.

Very nice hotel. Room on the small side, but very well designed and contained what I needed.Really fabulous breakfast. And great location! Very close to the Aachen Cathedral.

Aaachen taxi drivers prefer cash, but that is hardly Mercur Aachen's responsibility.

Location is good

When I told the reception next morning that heating was not working, I had to get a movable heater, fan was making an unbearable noise and the pillows were flat, the reception answered "all pillows in the hotel are flat...."

The location and the parking is pretty good

Towels smelled weird, room was quite dusty. It had my allergies flaring up.

I think the double beds can be a bit small.

our group of 4 person stayed in two rooms. one had extra pillows, flipflops for bathroom, free beverage available. our room did not have any of those. we had to walk on our socks, fold pillows to make it a bit comfy. and I did pay for all beverages I took from reception compared to other room availabilities

The staff was very friendly! The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean. I appreciated the fact that there was a kettle and some instant coffee and tea. It's useful, especially during the colder months.
