Aquis Grana City Hotel

Great location, beautiful rooms (and very spacious) and really amazing staff.

The parking is a bit far and rather expensive

It is in the perfect location. There is a nice room to work in the lobby. The room had a refrigerator and a nice view.

The room was extremely outdated and tattered. The drapes were falling off the wall, The carpet was old and stained. The two chairs were worn and really dirty. The breakfast staff was not helpful or nice. I had to place a towel on the chair to sit on.

The location of this hotel for visiting the Aachen Cathedral was great! It was easy to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit and there were so many food options available nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to directing us into their underground parking. The breakfast was more than ample with much variety and good taste! The room was clean and comfortable.

There was nothing to dislike! This is a very nice, basic hotel that met all our needs.

Excellent hotel right in the centre of Aachen. The hotel is comfortable and quite well-equipped. The breakfast is varied and there is something for eveyone. Despite being in the city centre, there is not much noise from the street.

Some minor points were that the room was a little austere, perhaps reducing the feeling of comfort, although globally the room was great. At breakfast the coffee is served at the table so there isn't an espresso option. Finally, staff were very nice, but definitely not over present.

Tap water was constantly warm, which was a bit odd. I did not ask them to fix it so that's on me.

Unfortunately I missed the breakfast but it looked really good. The location was great, room very nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, the check in was so fast because we did it online 1 day before arriving. The location is very central and you can walk everywhere.

We had a room with the street view and at night (on Friday) there were a lot of party people passing by which is the only downside.

The room itself was large but sterile. The duvets were thin and synthetic. The bathroom was modern, but the separate toilet was awkward. It was very low - more suitable for young children than for adults - and the toilet paper fixture was awkwardly placed. Not a toilet that is suitable for very tall or large people and a challenge for people with reduced upper body mobility.

The location is excellent.Nice view from the room. Staff is friendly.

The breakfast was alright but the products were not of highest quality; there were very few sweet options (cake, croissants... almost nothing).The king bed is made out of two separate mattress, thus you don't really enjoy it. Otherwise the room was alright. The corridors look pretty sad.

The location was excellent, and I very much enjoyed the breakfast. Also, the room was very clean, and the decor was great.

It would be nice to have USB/USB-C outlets available; also, it was quite hot in the room, even at night, without air conditioning, but I understand that my stay was during a particularly hot weather.

The hotel is at the best location. Close to the old part of the city and also to the shopping area and main sightseeing places. Room was very clean and housekeeping was very good. The receptionists were polite and friendly and really tried their best. Breakfast had a great variety of choices and the staff were attentive.

The bedsheets were not completely clean. The garage was to pay and even if we wanted pay, it was full. A lot of rumours could be heard very early in the morning, made sleeping very hard.

Love the location for the Christmas market and our favorite restaurants. The breakfast is always top-notch.

Fabulous location, few minutes walk to the Cathedral and shops

The location is what makes this hotel a great choice. The staff, rooms and facilities were all fine. The rooms were nice and large compared to other hotels in Europe. The breakfast was good.

The only complaint I have is that they have the worst pillows ever. I even asked for extras to try and double it up to make it adequate. To my surprise the hotel had zero extra pillows. It was bizarre.
