Good bed, nice location, nice basic breakfast

Location of the bathroom, choices channels of TV as hardly any international, parking in a nearby garage which is convenient but also not at the hotel and at extra cost.

Breakfast was good, good müsli, good bacon and scrambled eggs, reasonable bread, some fruit and a fair choice of cheeses. Not a lot for vegans however. Our room was fine, quiet, bathroom newly renovated. Great location, friendly helpful staff.

The hotel in general, and our room felt very basic, dowdy and lacking in colour, with dull materials and surfaces. Not a great deal of information about what to do in Aachen.

Excellent location right across from the train station. Quiet. Good room. Carpets were old but clean. Good budget hotel. Nice breakfast with various choices.

Carpets throughout were old, but they were clean and really the only thing that surprised me a little. All else was great.

Very nice and comfortable place near the Hbf that was only a little more expensive than the usual station-side budget options. Staff were helpful and friendly, including helping me retrieve a container I had left in the refrigerator after check out. Breakfast was quite good. Good random view of the Dom from one of the stairway windows.

The weather that day, but that's hardly the hotel's fault.

Breakfast was healthy, tasty and there was a variety of good food to choose from. Service was excellent.Staff were very kind and helpful.We were fortunate to have a spacious room at the back overlooking the city. Quiet and great views.Staff cleaned and tidied the room every day.

Clean, comfortable rooms, a couple blocks from the train station and about 10 minutes from the old town. Wonderful breakfast and spacious bathroom. Cool to be right next to the old city gate.

No air conditioning, and our room faced a loud street. Once the weather cooled a bit this was less of an issue. Note that their information says “laundry service” but they mean towels, not your clothes. Was a little confusing, but we found a laundromat in town.

The staff were very friendly. I've stayed at this hotel twice before and the breakfast is fantastic.

Room was hot — no air circulation as only one window opens. No a/c. Skylights taped shut with caution tape. Bugs in all the light fixtures. Staircase narrow and uneven.

There is a wedding hall beside the hotel . If there is a party the night you staying you won't sleep due to extremely loud music .

Exceptionally good breakfast. Close to the train station. Only ten minutes walk from the city centre.

It wasn’t a problem but the corridors need repainting.

Location was OK, near the railway station and not too far from the town centre ...Breakfast was good.Staff were friendly and helpful.Bathroom was in a different league from the bedroom ... newly refurbished with a bath and double handbasins ... not particularly useful for the solo traveller and, I think, for non-Americans. Who cleans their teeth together apart from Americans in films?

The room, bed was OK, other furniture very basic especially for clothes storage. No literature in room. By minibar, this hotel means stuff located at the foot of the stairs to be taken up.

Location, 10 minutes walk from the centre, 5 minutes walk from the station. Clean. Good breakfast. Lovely view.

The room was very basic, big but mostly empty space. Poor bed cover, towels were small and thin. No kettle.

The price was not bad. I liked the location. It was easy to walk there from the railway station but also a walk to old city center was not long. The breakfast was reasonably good. The personnel was really nice.

There was a strong smell of some washing agent in the room when I arrived. The room was a bit too warm as they was no air-conditioning, but I survived.
