Pros +
- We never saw any staff, but key pickup and drop off was very slick. Bed was decent.
- Clean bedroom with toiletries, sink, and comfortable bed, near the train station. Large shared bathroom and good shower.
- The hotel is about three minutes from the central train station. The staff was very helpful to give me the code of entry. Also the room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons -
- Bathroom toiletries.
- Loud street sounds. Not really a hotel per se, no staff, reception was closed at 18:30 (I couldn't read my mails on the day so called the landlady, who was friendly), just a key box. The bathroom could use a window curtain. Steep stairs.
- The rooms are tiny (but cozy), no elevator

The room was well cleaned and maintained. It's located close to the station and other amenties.
Very helpful, nice staff, a small fridge, great location, close.to the city and Hauptbahnhof..I had a great stay here and inexpensive, good value for money

Everything was good.
I had problems with the parking. You’re allowed to park next to the hotel maximum for 1 hour. Then you can either go sightseeing or park in the garage across the street but pay ~15.00 eur there. The lady said parking at the hotel is free from 9 o’clock, but it wasn’t clear it was 9 o’clock in the morning of Sunday. So, I left my car there at 9 o’clock in the evening on Saturday and I might get a fine for that. It may be all my fault, but was somewhat inconvenient.
Brilliant location with proximity to central railway station and central city attractions. Delightful host who gave brilliant recommendations of town. Easily contacted by phone.
The location
No emergency exit ??It is 30 steps of the stairs to be in your room
The position was close to train station, the room was clean and big, the bathroom had a large tub.
It was a little cold in the evening, and a little bit noisy. The stairs were too high and had no elevator, it’s hard to pull the suitcase up.
Love the location and very friendly owner.Hassle free check-in, seriously i love this compared to some 5 stars hotels that need to queue up waiting for keys and passport registration.
We used the same bedlinen for 9 nights and mattresses are slightly old, too soft. There is a kitchen, but very minimal provision of cooking utensil.
Flexible check-in and checkout. The location is near HBF
1. No staff available! 2. Somehow noisy as the room faces the main street
It was clean
The bed was uncomfortable. There was a streetlight right next to our window, and there were very poor curtains on the window. Maintenance started drilling into our room at 9:00 am, which was extremely loud. The hotel manager did nothing to alleviate this.
Location was very central, walking distance to city shopping centre. Parking opportunities across the hotel.
Check in procedure could be easier.
Location is excellent and it’s a cool building. Quick 2 minute walk from the train station and 10-15 minutes from most areas of interest and city center. Responsiveness from the host was very good. The rooms and facilities are exceptionally clean!
I never saw another person. I was worried when I showed up because the door was locked and no desk staff but it appears as if there should be someone there as a hotel with a lobby. To be fair, they did send a message but I didn’t see it and had to call the host who was very helpful and nice and helped me gain entry. During my stay I could never get enough heat from the radiator and I was quite cold in the corner room. I also wasn’t able to leave my bag on my checkout day past 12:45 because there was no staff and that cost me another €4 to store my bag at the train station.
location value for money clean and cared for
cold at night - bedding inadequate for season
This hotel is the cleanest, most well-kept, quaint, and friendly place I've stayed yet while travelling Europe! While it may be a little cramped getting up the stairs, the owner is happy to assist storing any heavy bags in the reception area. The location is perfect, write down the way from the main Aachen train station. It's centralized, surrounded by nice bars, cafes, and good food! The rooms are cozy, the bathrooms are spotless, and the beds are like sleeping on clouds. Whenever I return, this will always be my first choice for staying in Aachen! The owner is the kindest innkeeper you'll ever meet, with grand plans to turn the reception into a small breakfast lounge. Perhaps you'll see me in the future, making delicious pancakes and perfect eggs for guests when I return for University in '25. The place is new to the owner, with no reviews yet! If you enjoy your stay, please do her the biggest favor and give an honest review of how much you enjoyed your stay. It would mean the world to them!
I have not a single thing I disliked about this hotel!
Very close to stationGood value
Steep steps up to 3rd floor
Good location, clean and nice rooms
Very close to the train station
No members of the staff were present for the rest offer a very basic service
Passable
Space is pretty small. Pathway is narrow, making uneasy to carry the luggage. Isn’t light enough.
