Novotel Aachen City

A lovely kid-friendly spot - a play corner for kids in the lobby, adorable crib set up, free breakfast, plates and cutlery for the kids. It was a very lovely experience for traveling with kids!

The room was a fair size and the bar was comfortable with efficient staff.

The location was poor. It was quite central but was near to a number of dirty looking shops selling kebabs and such like. There were also several tramps/ drug takers in the immediate location. The room needed updating. It was tired and the bathroom was very old as well. The reception and bar area were more modern.

We went to Aachen for the Christmas market. The room was warm and cozy, the shower was hot, so it felt good to be inside after some long and freezy walks outside.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

No free parking, poor internet connection in some rooms.

Very comfortable and the staff was very polite and welcoming

The fridge was old very small

Room size , location

Room without refrigerator. While booking we booked hotel because minibar was mentioned. But in actual rooms are without minibars.

The hotel room was clean and well maintained. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly. The room was spacious enough, and we had both a bath and a shower. Everything was perfectly in order. On top of that, the hotel is within walking distance of the city center. Highly recommended!

Big room, nice bath, close to the center

Parking was charged

Disappointing

There was no water bottle in the room, the room was noisy, the AC didn’t work well

This hotel had everything we needed and were really accommodating for our daughter and dog

The room was a little hot but that was more about us not being able to work out the aircon

Good location, indoor parking available with direct access to the hotel, friendly staff.

I found breakfast a bit chaotic. Breakfast area was too small for the number of people, good replacement would sometimes take a while, it could take a while to find a table for our family.

Nice location, friendly personal, clean room, bathtub, expensive but very good breakfast, perfect price-quality ratio

Modern room, enough space and clean , Bar & Rest was quite good. Located just a few minutes from city center , friendly staff , in general the service is exceptional

Nothing to complain,

Modern room, enough space and clean , Bar & Rest was quite good. Located just a few minutes from city center , friendly staff , in general the service is exceptional ?, fully recomended.

Nothing to complain,

Spacious room and quiet despite being near the main road and with many guests.

WiFi was horrible, really slow, but it was also hard to connect using hotspot on my phone. Limited spaces for hanging clothes. The sofa, which I was especially looking forward to was very hard. I did not like that the toilet did not have sink and was separated from the main bathroom. The design of the bathroom looked lovely but the sink does not have the best design and was hard to use. Also when taking a shower the water ends on the floor.

breakfast is excellent. Room is very clean. Location is perfect and it is very close to City center.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room

Room a little hot because air conditioner a bit feeble.

Clean and spacious rooms, car parking under the hotel.

I am not coming back...

The attitude of the staff. They were rude. Even after I had paid completely for my stay and breakfast, they kept on pestering me in the middle of my breakfast saying its not been paid for. The attitude was really terrible. When they realised I had actually paid for, there was no apology for the mistreatment, just a casual "anyone can make mistakes". This is simply unacceptable.
