Cons -
- When we arrived at the reception, we paid for the Ibis parking and parked our car. Around 22h, the receptionist woke us up with a call to say that they made a mistake and we had to park on the street, then they would give us the money back. We found it very unprofessional and were even fined because the ticket payment machine on the street wasn't working.
- Room is small but good enough for two people
- The stay was very disappointing. After check-in we were given keys to our room. One of us was showering when to our shock another guest walked into our room because the front desk had mistakenly assigned it to someone else. This was extremely embarrassing and unacceptable. We reported it to the front desk guy and asked them to make sure it didn’t happen again. Mistakes can happen but unfortunately the same thing happened later that night. Someone else was again given a key to our room. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. To make matters worse the front desk guy showed no remorse and seemed completely unbothered by the situation. That kind of attitude is not okay in a hotel setting, the man was very unprofessional. Thankfully one of the staff members, a German woman, was very kind and helpful which is the only reason I'm giving this place a 2 instead of a 1. Even though it was not her mistake, she handled the situation with the professionalism that was otherwise missing. Also worth noting the cleaning staff in the morning knocked and opened the door immediately without waiting for a response. That’s another serious privacy issue. I would not recommend staying here if you value privacy and safety.
Good location.

Very good breakfast, pleasant and relative large room. Central location - easy to reach center of Aachen.
New room modern style, New Air condition work good. Good location !
Great location. Nice, clean, basic hotel. Beds were comfortable.
Location is close to the train station but also not far from the center.
Room is small but good enough for two people
Good location as it is close to the city center and there are parking facilities.

Convenient location for train travelers. Also a short walk to the center. I had a quiet room facing the parking lot. Reception was warm and welcoming. The room seemed to be newly renovated. Fresh and clean. Elevator, luggage, storage and 24/7 reception were all important to my stay.
It was rather clean and quite, and the staff extremely polite.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the lighting was good.
The bed was quite hard, the blanket was very thin, and the pillow didn’t provide enough support.
The hotel was clean and well presented. Close to the station.
The staff gemerally couldn't be bothered to speak (except for some breakfast ladies). Two paper-thin towels in the bathroom and toilet paper that could be used to sand wood. The overall feeling was that the hotel was open to make a profit, we're in a good location and you can like it or lump it.
Location
No drinking water, no bathroom sandals, no hot water kettle or coffee in the room. Food is terrible, very limited menu. It's no value for money!
Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Staff in the bar were very helpful and friendly.
The staff at reception during check in was not so friendly and helpful
Location,.staff at the bar, ate maria.
Comfortable bed and pillow, nice breakfast buffet, convenient for train travelers
The room was nice, I really liked an extra pillow, very nice touch.
The person on the reception in the nightshift was a little unfriendly but it could be that I was very tired, so no big deal.
The hotel is near the train station and a convenient place for midway long train travels. The hotel is basic, but has friendly people, and a welcoming bar in the evening.
Like the Ibis brand, this hotel is just functional, but doesn't have any unique characteristics.
Central and warm
I believe smokers have been previously in that room. Funny smell all night long.
Perfect location not far from Hbf and the top attractions of Aachen.Quiet and peaceful place where we could sleep well (a good rest after almost sleepless nights in Ukraine).
As I travelled with my sister, I booked a twin room with 2 single beds. When we arrived, two beds were put together. We moved one bed from another as far a room size allowed, but a cleaning lady/man put them together again and again. Why?
