Motel One Aachen

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable

The room and bathroom were clean and adequate (e.g. hair dryer etc.) for a short business stay. There was enough storage space and hangers to keep clothes and belongings organized. The location is central and convenient.

Check-in lines were very slow, with long queues in different times (morning and evening). The lobby bar had limited food options and the service there was also quite slow. Bathroom amenities were very minimal, with only a combined shampoo and body wash provided. No lotion, cream, etc.

Great location, super friendly staff and great service. Breakfast was not included in our stay and we didn't really need it, but it was nice to see they had a coffee and tea machine in the lobby that was available for everyone to use during breakfast hours and they even put out some pastries for guests in a hurry. And the lobby area and the interior court were gorgeous and super comfy!

I understand the rooms are very small but a kettle in the room would have helped a lot since we were travelinv with our 1 year old son. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The rooms are incredibly clean. Comfortable beds. Great location right by the main cathedral.

The room has been on the second floor with a street view where some construction takes place. It could be noisy with open windows but generally the windows provide good isolation. Very tiny room, no tea making facilities.

This hotel is very close to the Aachen Cathedral and Christmas market, making the location perfect for walking the city. Parking under the hotel was very convenient. The room was small, but clean and comfortable.

We were disappointed that there wasn't any tea/coffee making in the room. The bathroom was also a bit on the small side.

We have always wanted to try a Motel One. We travel a lot and always see one wherever we go. We do go to their bars even when we didn't stay there. So, the Motel One in Aachen has a good location and close to the Christmas market. The reception staff was very friendly. The room we had was called a "king standard", it was very tiny. So small. We were thankful we were only there 1 night. For the 1 night we made the room work.

The room was small! The bathroom was tiny. It was clean enough, but carpet in a hotel is never good! I wish we had a coffee maker, or a water kettle. A bottle of water on arrival would have been nice, most hotels do that. Then, the breakfast...wow, what a chaotic experience. Just not organized well...the food was fine and there was plenty. No hot food, but it was good enough for a breakfast.

Clean, modern, spacious excellent location

Breakfast at Motel One Aachen was excellent with lots of choices. We especially appreciated the fresh orange juice and delicious coffee.

The room was a little small, as it was difficult to open two suitcases on the floor. The bed, however, was very comfortable, and the room was very clean.

We thought the breakfast offered was not worth 17 euros so we did not purchase it. We liked the coffee options. We liked the water container at the reception desk our first couple of days.

Coffee machine and “flavored” water availability all day would have enhanced our stay.

Exceptional value with excellent location - just steps away from the Aachen Dom, with the theater just across the street. The room was very comfortable, with a great shower, and the best hotel hair dryer ever. Excellent and friendly staff. A definite 10/10. Highly recommend.

Great location both for those who want to explore the old city and those who need access to public transport for business meetings.Wide, excellently decorated lobby bar area with a rich drink menu.Clean room, comfortable bed.Great staff - no complaints.

Though the size of the room is technically enough, the space could have been utilised much better:.- Too small desk for business travellers who need a working space,- "Very" small nightstand next to the bed on both sides - hardly take the phone and the eye-glasses,- The closet was too small, too, if you are a couple with clothes for a trip longer than 3-4 days, The upper shelves were particularly too high, making them particularly impractical.- No mini fridge, no desk phone to call the reception.

The room is pretty small with not much room to maneuver

Location is super, within walking distance of almost everything. Staff are super friendly. Bar has excellent cocktails.

Rooms are a bit small. No tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast too expensive.

The breakfast was great, had a good selection of different options and plenty of it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and would definitely stay there again.

Love the breakfast;) Housekeepers greet us warmly and made us feel welcome. We thanks the front desk clerks for providing us the barrier-free shower.

Lobby was great! Rooms were clean and functional!

The AC was not cold at all!
