Hotel Stella Maris

The location was excellent and put us right in the centre of town. All the areas we wanted to see where within walking distance. Lots of little restaurants and cafes in the area to enjoy. The hotel was exquisite! The room was beautifully appointed and overlooked the square.

Location was great !

I missed having a full-length mirror, a desk, and a larger TV to see from a distance, considering the location of the bed.

Self check-in was smooth and easy to navigate. Loved the stocked fridge and sweet treats! This stay was comfortable and memorable.... we could easily open the windows to listen to cafe and markt and close them again in the evening to reduce same noise. We did not need or use the provided ear plugs. Great location for walking in old town and evenings.

Self check in was smoothe but we would have liked interacting with a human at some point during our stay... we did not see staff at all despite easy of processes... we know this is a trend and it only works when the flow of tasks is smooth (getting key, etc). This was the case here, but not so elsewhere. The small bonuses of treats and stocked fridge helps compensate for this.

Very friendly place to stay! Easy access, great communication, excellent location. The room was comfortable and clean.

Everything is old and needs updating. The bed and pilows is in dire need of replacement

The location of the hotel is very nice, but it is hardly known in the area. I had difficulty finding it because the hotel is not recognizable from the outside, and none of the nearby places I asked were familiar with it. The heating of the air conditioner definitely didn’t work, and during my visit in December, I had to stay in an ice-cold room. For me, the room was unusable except for sleeping at night.

Beautiful decorated room in the middle of Maastricht. The staff was friendly and helpful, on the phone and in real.

The price for one night was a bit steep. And was not breakfast included. It's above a restaurant/café.

Location and Customer Service

Way too many stairs to carry our suitcases up. My husband has a bad back and it been clearly stated that we needed to carry our suitcases up 3 flights of steep stairs at the time of booking I would have picked somewhere else.It stank of wet dogs in the entrance lobby.

The central location. Comfortable bed. Television received BBC 1 and 2 for the Olympics.

Whether you're looking for shopping, dining, or cultural experiences, everything is just a short walk or drive away, perfect for anyone that is attending the Andre Rieu show.The rooms are beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room amenities were top-notch, including a well-stocked minibar, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a state-of-the-art entertainment system. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting and I look forward to returning in the future.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️

Great location but noisy in the morning due to deliveries, so use the ear plugs provided. Lovely treats in the room and fridge included. Friendly staff, overall a fantastic short stay.

Difficult to find and staircase exceptionally steep. No reception anvaila on arrival.

Steep stairs, no lift. Although it didn’t bother us, but could be an issue for people with mobility issues.

Very central location! Access to the best historical part of Maastricht, many cute cafes and shops.

It can be a bit noisy outside at night, but nothing that earplugs can't help with.

We loved the interior / design of the room. Big and spacious, also the bathroom big and spacious. The coffee was delicious and we also loved the mini bar which was all inclusive.

My husband thought that the bed was too soft. The TV was hanging too far up on the wall! If you have a lot of luggage or a stroller for kids, i would not recommend as you have to walk up the stairs (typical dutch stairs, narrow and steep).
