The check in was quick.

We stayed two nights. Our room was on the ground level and we were located directly at the outside stuff area. They were sitting there until midnight, smoking and talking and we had to ask at the front desk if they could be quieter. The next night...same problem, but no manager there after 10PM and it was the same problem, until AM 1:30. This is really not ok for 250 Euro per night. Funny enough the whole property is smoke free...except for them

Food was excellent, hotel beautiful and relaxing, room was fresh clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom modern, large and clean.

Service at bar and in restaurant although always very friendly and polite seemed overstretched, staff needed reminding on occasion with lengthy delays and on one occasion three reminders so a little dissapointing not to have drinks with meal.

We have been staying in a superior room, unfortunately, the carpet was full of stains, the bathroom floor had water next to the bath tub.

Once you arrive you just don’t want to leave! The location is super nice, the staff very polite and sweet and the hotel and scenery was beautiful! Everything was perfect

We cycled North after catching the ferry to Vlissingen and this hotel provided a perfect location for an overnight stay. We had very comfortable rooms and an excellent evening meal and breakfast. The hotel provided secure overnight storage for our bicycles. A perfect choice.

A tonne of details that are very disappointing. Booking for two separate beds was no honored ('you should have called us'), no hand towels in an already spartan bathroom, asked for a softer pillow but got a harder one, no envelope for invoice at checkout, tables in restaurant not cleaned before next guests, few charging points for EV, etc. Many more guests had similar issues, some silly details, some more important things, but it creates irritation.This could be a great place, but it is very poorly (if not at all) managed, with little eye for details, yet we all pay the full price. Shame on you.

Beautiful and calm location. Clean, friendly staff.

Overpriced for a room & breakfast only. I would expect more facilities, like a swimming pool, for example.

Flexibility of the staff - we received delicious breakfast packages as we left too early to benefit from the breakfast onsite. The location of the hotel is amazing.

I found it still expensive, despite the good standard, but it probably corresponds to the Dutch levels.

The location is just so wonderful...very good view and quite! good place to be relax.

The breakfast is not good enough for a 4-star hotel...there are not so much choice for the food, no more fresh fruits and salads, so pity!

Nice view over the lake. Gym is acceptable. Breakfast quite good. Polite staff.

Waiters at the restaurant seems unexperienced. Don't opt for the tasting menu; it is too expensive in comparison to what you get.

The room was spacious and comfortable furnished. Parking was not a problem, because there were plenty of parking spaces within a 20-meter walk.

The restaurant's menu is mainly aimed at holiday guests with with plenty of time. Many small dishes and complex menus. (virtually no choice of 'simple' one plate dishes. Only after asking the staff)

I loved the rooms, and was very impressed to be provided the disabled accessible room as I requested upon booking as I'm disabled. the rooms are very spacious with a good amount of room to move around, which is a bonus.

I found that the menu in their restaurant was rather limited and could have done with more choice/ items to choose from and found that the food in the restaurant was quite expensive compared to everywhere else. the hotel was also in a bit of an odd place, and was well out of the way of everywhere right in the middle of a housing estate!! we struggled to find it too as there were no signs, ect telling you where the hotel was.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable, clean room lovely bed and great shower room.

Service was appauling throughout the afternoon and evening. At one point it took a qaurter of an hour to order a drink - after 35 minutes wating fot it I cancelled the drink which still hadn't arrived. Wow more that 3/4 hour to NOT get a drink. Then just as bad getting supper. In the end I went to the bar and had to 'hijack' a member of serving staff to take my order. One couple on the table next to me left after waiting a long time to be served. Other customers were complaining to the serving staff who were being pulled in all directions.Whats the point of booking into a lovely hotel in a beautiful location if you can't get food and drink served in a reasonable time.
