Hotel Middelburg

Clean and comfortable room, quiet area, free parking right next to the hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was good with enough variety, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth.

The interior feels a bit dated, and the room could benefit from better sound insulation. Otherwise, everything was fine for a short stay.

Very good breakfast - I really liked that they served eggs sunny side up (as opposed to scrambled which seems to be the norm everywhere). Spacious room & comfortable bed. Perfect location for the purpose of my trip.

My room had a bit of a musty smell to it. The extraction fan in the toilet is on 24/7 - the noise isn't too much but I recommend earplugs. Coffee-making appliances in the room would be nice.

The hotel offered a very convenient location, situated close to the highway and just minutes from the downtown area, making it ideal for both travel and sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. Additionally, the excellent breakfast provided a great start to each day, with a variety of options.

While the stay was overall pleasant, the room felt somewhat small, particularly when traveling with luggage, and the bathroom, especially the shower, was quite compact. Additionally, the provided amenities were minimal, limited to a piece of hand soap and a wall-mounted shower dispenser.

Nice hotel in an industrial area, across from the McDonalds, a little outside of the city centre. If you have a car, it's only a few minutes to Middelburg's city centre. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. Our room was clean and completely did the job for our one night stay, fair price. Free breakfast with plenty of options.

Comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast was not special, but enough. Location not far from the highway, city of Souburg and Middelburg. Very friendly staff.

Centrally located and convenient, even if not particularly pretty (looking at Mc Donalds!). The hotel is modern and has a lovely atmosphere, especially the common areas like bar, breakfast room and terrace. Loved the lighting in the evenings with candle type lighting eveywhere. Breakfast is lovely with lots of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful

Of course it´s all functional, so not a warm atmosphere in the rooms, for example through colors or pictures on the wall. The cups in the bathroom are plastic cups which is unnecessary plastic waste and so are the many little items on the breakfast buffet. For those who are interested in and have an awareness regarding e.g. reducing plastic waste, this would not be your choice. To my surprise vegan options - e.g. cow milk alternatives - were not available strangly enough - even though it is available in so many other places in the world

Very friendly staff, nice and clean room, nice bar/restaurant, good breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Location makes the hotel better suited for Business traveling, for holidays thete are better options

The main lights in the room switch off automatically after a few minutes, learning by doing, the reading lights show a normal behavior

Missing hairdryer in the room.

I stayed here a week with some family. The staff were absolutely lovely, the food was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable. It's a great atmosphere, very friendly to everyone, and the staff are also quite helpful. ☺️

Quiet room, very clean, everything there what was promised. Could easily make it warm on a cold day. Breakfast was exceptional. Parking plenty and free

The staff was friendly and helpful! Also the evening meal was quite tasty but breakfastWas poor.

Upon arrival all the carpets were dirty. The shower was t very clean and the breakfast had dried out cheese from the previous day.

Very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Breakfast is very nice, good coffee and many different kinds of bread. Restaurant serves nice meals, convenient.

Signage to the entrance is missing, kept driving onto the industrial area.

Good location with walking distance to the town centre. Lobby, dining and bar area were very well presented and clean. Breakfast selection was very good. And staffs are really friendly.

Check-in difficult - we were given the wrong code for the key box so couldn’t get in to the hotel… stressful after a long drive. We had to phone the emergency number and they were very helpful. We were then given the correct code and all was well.

Check in was smooth, rooms are tiny but comfortable, staff was helpful. Breakfast was tasty and good variety.

Rooms are small that I'm used to. It would be nice to have an option of connecting rooms or a family room, but was not available, had to take 2 rooms next to each other for a family.
