Hotel Grand Canal is quietly situated in the center of Delft and just 160 yards away from Delft’s Central Train Station, which offers many public transportation facilities. All rooms have a homey setting and a view of the canals. You can enjoy an extensive breakfast in the breakfast room before exploring this historic city. This former canal house used to be the city’s prison and even earlier, the storage place for the V.O.C. At 55 yards from the hotel, there is a parking area. Hotel Grand Canal is situated close to highways A4 and A13 to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Hague. Leiden is a 30 minute drive away.

Very good location. Hotel is small but well equipped (frig, coffee machine, hot pot, very comfy bed). The air conditioning was greatly appreciated during the hot temps.

Cons -

Need more hooks in washroom.
No. We gave "public spaces" a 7 out of 10, however, as the front lobby really has no public space. There is an area upstairs for sitting and nice treats in the evenings.
