    Pros +

    • Hoeve BuytenHout is beautiful, honestly one of the most lovely places we've ever stayed. It's the kind of place you want to take pictures of and steal all of their decorating ideas! The place is immaculate, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious! The property around it is beautiful and the fact that there were adorable animals just was an added bonus. The rooms are very large, with endless hot water, very comfortable beds and they even come and service your room which you don't always get with a B&B. You are also more than welcome to use the common area during the day, sitting by the fire, having drinks or just playing board games. It's only a few minutes drive to Delft and about a 20 minute drive to The Hague, I recommend both as they are both lovely! I've stayed all over the world and this B&B is truly a masterpiece and the owners are absolutely kind and gracious, I would recommend Hoeve BuytenHout to anyone! (Get a cappuccino you won't be disappointed!)
    • The entire property was beautiful and well maintained. I wish our visit was when the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the lovely patio. The breakfast was very generous with lots of options to choose from. The guest rooms are large and well appointed. The host was very responsive when we had an after hours question about accessing our room. We loved seeing the rabbits and chickens everyday!
    • Everything was amazing!! We loved the people who own the place, they made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was amazing, the animals are so cute, the private balcony was the cherry on top, and being able to rent bikes through them was the most pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back!

    Cons -

    • Everything was perfect!
    • Nothing! It was absolutely perfect.
    • The doors are a little loud when they close so your door may rattle when others leave their rooms. It is enough to wake me up.

We liked everything. On arrival, walking past the farm animals and seeing the well maintained landscape, we were impressed. The room and shower greatly exceeded our expectations. The picture can't show how nice this place is. The bed is comfy and the shower is excellent. Kim is super friendly and inviting. The homemade breakfast was exceptional. Great coffee. The whole property is very well done and clean. This makes a great homebase for traveling to other nearby cities. Would love to return sometime.

Everything about it is perfect!! Since the warm welcome from Kim with some tea, coffee freshly baked pie, the entire property, her chickens, ducks and bunnies!! The rooms and ambience are perfect and the breakfast impeccable. We felt so bad that we had only one night there.. we will for sure be back!! Can’t wait!!

Exceptional style, service, and quiet location. Parking, nice area with surrounding nature. Great breakfast, very clean, comfortable bed and large room, nice location for solitude and relaxing.

Roosters at times, but that’s understandable.

Everything about this B&B is perfect. If I didn’t live on the other side of the world, I would stay here regularly. Kim and her husband are incredible and beyond hospitable. The breakfast was so good and gave us the energy we needed to tackle each day. Would return!!

The best B&B we have ever stayed in. A purpose-designed modern building with top-quality fittings/fixtures and very stylishly appointed. Extremely comfortable spacious rooms with equally spacious en-suites. Wonderful breakfast room with great breakfast. Great, quiet location with easy travelling into Delft (bike, walk, car, or bus) and ideally situated for visits to Den Haag, Rotterdam, Kinderdijk, Keukenhof etc. The hosts Kim and Ramon, and their team, were extremely welcoming and a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay. Exceptional in every aspect.

Having to leave, although we went back for a further night before heading home!

Hoeve BuytenHout is absolutely BEAUTIFUL - we loved every moment of our stay! Kim is such a gracious host - she met us with a delicious snack and tour. Breakfast was HUGE and delicious - such a good assortment, eggs, bacon, fresh bread, homemade cake - Kim even made us cappuccinos. The setting right on a small waterway is beautiful, we had a view of a neighboring farm with horses from our room. I only wish we had been able to stay longer we would LOVE to stay again!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The room, food, host, setting was all wonderful!

    I loved it all

We loved this place and we will definitely stay here again when we come back. It’s easy to locate, very comfortable and clean. Staff are super helpful and kind. Breakfast is phenomenal, garden is awesome. There are cutest chickens and the bunnies. It’s a short bike ride to the old town and to a huge park where you can ride your bike or run/walk.

We had the best stay! The location is quiet, the rooms are fab and the owners were lovely. We loved afternoons sitting outside.

Very beautiful place. Kim, our hottest was amazing. She all the time took care of us. It's a cozy place to be. Very unique and calming. We hope to arrive back again.

You need to have a car. We have, so it was perfect.

    10ClairePosted on: 11-25-2024

The layout, the cleanliness, the welcome, the copious amount of food, Bruce their bernese mountain dog, the bunnies, the surrounding, the bedding,... Everything was an absolute 10/10. Would definitely recommend and come again! Very well placed to visit Delft, Rotterdam, Gouda, Kinderdijk or The Hague without being in the city.

    10JoellePosted on: 11-19-2024

From the location, to the accommodation and the fabulous breakfast we could not fault our stay. The welcome was lovely and informative and I would not hesitate to recommend this property. We were only sad that our stay was only for one night.

We loved our 4-day stay in this place. The surroundings and the interior design are gorgeous. Being placed in a rural area makes it a really special place, with water canals and greenhouses nearby. The hosts were very lovely and helpful. Upon arrival, we were offered coffee or tea and had it brought to our rooms. The breakfast was really tasty and substantial, with a great variety. It's not a self-service breakfast; the hosts prepare it themselves and serve it at the table. Each morning, we got freshly baked bread and, besides the usual food (ham, cheese, butter, etc.), they also added some local specialties. The rooms are very cozy, with plenty of space in the main room and in the bathroom as well. The interior design, featuring solid wood and various other items, was really lovely and inspiring. All in all, we would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place.

We loved everything about this property, especially the owners the farm itself the amazing breakfast served as well as other no charger amenities. Or hopeless to return someday as it’s like being home away from home.

Be sure to remember that bus line number 455 get you back to the train station which allows you to make you very quick day trips to other small and beautiful town
