Rooms are small but clean

They do not have rooms for 3 adults. They just add another bed to the already small room

Perfect location for day trips in the area, free parking, good food, friendly staff

Location. Everything we needed was within walking distance.

We’d paid for an extra large (XL) room & upon checking in were given a “Twin room”, significantly smaller. With no offer to reduce the price we had paid for the larger room.Very disappointed!

Beautiful spacious room with a view overlooking the dock, we were there to catch the ferry to New Castle the next day, so a good rest before the crossing and a short walk to the terminal. Another plus point is the full scale kitchen on the same floor, though we didn't cook there, we could use the supplies and facilities there .

Without a physical reception, we ( 70+) had to struggle with digital checking in and the digital key was also something new to us !We were rather disappointed with the breakfast, too little choices and we had to wait for refills, it didn't match the other facilities of the hotel, sadly!

Location was fine, We enjoyed our breakfast,it was sufficient

Great location, comfortable bed and excellent ensuite with unexpected dressing gowns and slippers.Secure bike storage nearby.

Breakfast was really nice, great parking and big bedroom. The decoration and the shower was very pretty

The price is too expensive for what you get: no personal check-in, you have to wait and call if you want to see someone. I paid with booking but while checking in online, the hotel took the money once again. It’s sorted out but I had to go to them, figuring this out myself which was annoying and if you don’t pay attend you end up paying the price twice. Not a good experience to have this

room clean and spacious modern ,breakfast very nice and fresh pancakes were made to order if non were available on the breakfast table. location excellent near the docks with good seafood restaurant and close by to the city ,but transport will be needed ideally a car.

intial room given a the front of the hotel had a very strange smoke detector place just outside the bathroom door on the ceiling . We were advised to keep the door closed when finishing showering as this is sensitive, but with no extraction in the bathroom so this was unavoidable. so once the door of the bathroom was opened the fire alarm went off. mad panic by staff to reset and attend the room to check all was well. we then asked for another room which had a bath in the room itself and was very nice. but this smoke detector which is supposed to detect a fire sets off the alarm for moisture is very strange and i have never heard of in the uk. hotel needs to check this is correct?

The location,grounds,breakfast,layout.

Very comfortable and unique features. The styling of this hotel makes it fun, the staff were great. The hotel is on the ijmuiden heritage walk and also 15 minute walk to the shopping area.

As the hotel was used by a lot of cruise ship passengers may I suggest that a transfer bus is organised at a fixed time (passengers pay a fixed fare and book in advance). The hotel can ask guests in advance if they require the transfer. On this occasion Taxis were arranged as and when required but ijmuiden appears to have limited taxis available.

Very clean and different, the staff was really accommodating and friendly there was even a kitchen in a central location if you wanted to cook something for yourself. Loved our stay

The hotel is lovely, comfortable, clean, fresh and quirky. Love the fact the 2 restaurants have a completely different vibe. Staff were very helpful and the availability of a secure bike store was a definite bonus. The restaurant has a good choice and the food was well prepared. It's not in the poshest part of the town but very quiet, close to the interesting old town and the cycle routes north and south. Don't be put off by the location. It's a gem of a place.

Friendly personnel, modern in-check/out-check system with the digital key. Good restaurant. Room with unique facilities (I have a vintage LP record in the room, the first time I enjoy it in real life) and fun decorations in the room.

Very clean, bed very comfortable, very good shower.

I loved the breakfast! Plenty of choice and really tasty. The lady was really nice, helpful and smiley. EXCELLENT!!!

I arrived late and it took me a while to understand I will not get a "regular" key to the room but had to use the sms/email to open the room

The rain shower was nice and the lights in the room.

The room had 1 window, but you could not look through it. It was as heigh as the ceiling. The room felt like a shoe box. There was also a shower curtain. Definitely not worthy.
