This hotel blends timeless charm with seamless functionality, outperforming many modern hotels nearby. The rooms are generously sized, and the ability to open the windows for fresh air is a huge plus. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and their Green Stay Policy is both thoughtful and effective. The in-room coffee is also a standout.

The shower-over-bath setup feels a bit dated. And maybe a daily refill of the coffee cups as due to the Green Stay Card, the supply of coffee cups is also skipped. Maybe card with: No Service Needed but Coffee is Always Welcome!

Amrath looks & feels like a classic/oldskool hotel but it functions better than more modern styled hotels in the area.Rooms are spacious. Windows can be opened, which is great as nothing beats fresh air. Beds are comfy. Their Green Stay Policy really works. Great coffee supplied with the machines.

Hardly any vegetarian or vegan options at breakfast. Shower over bath is a bit oldskool.

We had a problem with the heater the first 2 nights. It was fixed by the 3rd night.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. The scenery outside is amazing, it’s close to the train station, and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

The only problem is the sound of the room doors — they really need to be soundproofed. It’s important for privacy and intimacy, and because every time someone opened a door in the hallway, it felt like they were opening ours, which was a bit weird the first night. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Nice rooms and located conveniently from the station and centre. Good spead at the breakfast although very few vegan options.

Loved the location and room.I was delighted to find a soaker tub and enjoyed a long, hot bath.Wonderful hotel in charming town. Would love to return!

We are muslims. In hotel for the breakfast i couldnt eat anything. I only had a coffee. But totally everything is good

Break fast is poor compare to my previous stay.Staff were not welcoming and you feel not well trained.

Location is excellent and the staff is really nice.

Within the room - here were my observations: - the TV is outdated- The shower nozzle to adjust temperature was broken before i even checked in- the bed was not the most comfortable as well. The fitness center also needs updating

It was very close to town, and it had bikes available to rent. The room was very clean and the windows open up to let in fresh air.

The room did not have an iron or ironing board and we had to request one during our stay, and then go downstairs to collect as they often only had one staff member on the front desk at a time. Our safe had an error code on the first day of our stay, and our passports were locked inside. The hotel arranged for someone to unlock the safe for us, but the staff member arrived prior to 8am in the morning the next day and knocked loudly on the door to wake us up, despite having the do not disturb sign on. After our passports were retrieved, the safe was taken away to be repaired. When we returned to our room later that day we found the safe back inside our room - meaning that the staff had entered our room, without us being present, with no prior permission and again with the do not disturb sign on. Our valuables were not locked up as we had no safe at the time, which made us feel uncomfortable.

The location is excellent. The rooms are big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Behaviour of staff was nice.

There was a stain on the bedsheet. However, we noticed it in the morning, and it was changed by the cleaning staff, when reported. The breakfast on Sunday morning was from 7:30 to 11:00. We went for breakfast at 9:15. Already, there was no croissant, scrambled egg, spek, pancake, or sausage. The refilling was also not done sufficiently and quickly. The juice dispenser was also almost empty. Only orange juice and water were available, although there were other 2-3 options. Did not expect such frugal breakfast at 19.50 euros per head.
