Nice friendly staff and spacious rooms

Did not get our room cleaned

Spacious room and free parking. Very fancy breakfast in the morning at Bloom restaurant.

Spacious room, quality products for bathroom, feather quilt on bed, free parking (in a country that seems obsessed with pay for parking!) and free wifi. The buffet in the morning was extra cost but reasonable and the food was very good. Loved the fresh breads, cheeses, hot food and fresh coffee.

Wish there was two stands for suitcases instead of one. Air controller on the wall isn't the easiest to figure out.Buffet really should use higher quality juices (they seemed watery and poor quality). Fruit bowl had mostly unripe fruit (cantelope, honeydew, watermelon) and grapes with seeds :(

Underground parking is paid, above ground parking is free.

Breakfast was not as expected for the value of money we pay- the lady who is preparing the eggs was not treating us in a nice way

Their own website doesn't accept more than 2 members in a room, I cannot add 2 adults and 1 kid to a room. Website can be improved

Good, generic, comfortable hotel. Comfortable big bad, clean rooms. I didn’t use any of the facilities such as gym, spa, or restaurant, so I can’t comment on their value.

It’s far from city center. In fact, it’s almost on the outskirts of Alkmaar. Not too terrible if you are with a bicycle.The check in process wasn’t smooth. The automatic check in didn’t work, so I had to look for a receptionist that wasn’t around. Eventually she came, and had to redo the entire check in process that I steady started on the tablet. Could be a one time issue, so I wouldn’t count it as a negative. It’s that I was expecting more from a four star hotel.

The staff were fantastic. Very accommodating.

The bed was too soft. Carpet in the room was stained which gave the impression that it was not cleaned properly.

Die ruhige Lage war optimal und nur 20 min zum Center. Free parking is a plus…

No proper bar - drinking in reception and having drinks brought from a back room was not ideal.No restaurant hence room service Paper cups for coffee!!!

Reception staff excellent... close to airport...secure free parking

Everything is ok. This is not the first time we have stayed here and always in the same room. This time they gave us a different room. We asked for a replacement, and they politely replaced us with the room we always stay in. I am sincerely grateful to the hotel staff ?.

It "helped" that the Team of Hotel Alkmaar had decided to give me an upgrade to their Junior Suite. Very comfortable and roomy. I did not use the "in-room tub" which was something I had never seen before.The breakfast buffet was fabulous. My types of food, great selection, all fresh. Many different types of delicious bread.All staff that I interacted with was extremely pleasant and friendly. That definitely added to my appreciation of the hotel and made my stay very enjoyable.

Really nothing that comes to mind ..... one thing, not sure that's up to the hotel .... move smokers / smoking area away from the entrance. Most times I had to walk through the "clouds of smoke".

Great hotel if you are going to watch AZ Alkmaar like we were. Only a short walk to the stadium. Pleasant 25 min walk to the beautiful town centre. Free parking too.

We would have liked to have breakfast but felt it was too expensive.

The room and the staff was good.

Very friendly and professional staff at the front desk! Good breakfast. Good parking facilities.

The airco took a bit of figuring out but once we had done that, it warmed up the room nicely.
