They don't make up the rooms. The stairs are very dangerous. No lift in the back rooms.

-Bergen is lovely charming town

- very poor slow incompetent check in- very uncomfortable beds with gap in the middle!- lumpy pillows- ordinary room- poor and strange parking options- patchy restaurant service - restaurant closed at 20h- ordinary food

Room in other houses very poor. Entrance door open alll night. Heard another people coming and morning check out.No internet. With phone speed only 5mb/s.Very poor breakfast, looks like coffee and sandwich.

Unable to bath as bath too high and am invalid e refused to give other room 4 days no clean towels and no vacuum cleaning

Location is good. Walking distance to town centre.

Old, badly maintained. Smelly. You can hear your neighbours all night long. And there is rust everywhere. Cupboard doors with large mirror so loose it was a real hazard. And definitely not value for money. Breakfast buffet very basic and coffee machines hardly working.

There was no teapot and hair dryer.

Very cute hotel but pricy for what it offers. We didn’t even have a water kettle in our room. But the breakfast was amazing. Over all a nice cute hotel.

All was comfortable and of good quality. Friendly staff and great terrace in the sun. Easy parking and the location is perfect!

-Staff were excellent, couldn't fault them, hotel was spacious, Room was basic but ok for 1 night.

Breakfast was basic, hot was bacon, egg and tomatoes.Cereals, breads, cheeses and meats...would have liked to make some toast but not able to.Maybe a typical Dutch breakfast but it filled a hole.

Good price, excellent location

Breakfast quality poor, room outdated and smelly. Not in a disgusting way, just that not ventilated nor refurbished for a while smell.

Don't understand any negative reviews of this place. Price for value is insane, best Dutch hotel we ever stayed! If it will be at similar price next time, we coming back!

Nothing at all, all perfect. Hotel is little old, but clean and we had zero issues!

If we go to Bergen we always stay on Marijke. It has a charm even if the facility may need some renovations

Handy location in beautiful Bergen. Excellent restaurant facilities and decent choice on menu. Bergen is very attractive as were hotel architecture and facilities. Good cycle storage.

Apart from poor drainage of wash basin all was good Reception promised to deal with problem

Located in town centre though along a quiet road. Bergen is beautiful village for hanging out as well as walk in the dunes or on the beach. Latter bit firther away though.

Food quality is not the best, orange juice in morning is (poor) sirup based and scrambled eggs were maid for processed eggs (from the bottle). In evening food is more focussing on quantity than quality. The fish was good though covered with sauce and the plate covered with mashed potatoes. For good (and more limited amounts of) food there are some excellent other restaurants nearby.
