Stylish renovated room, easy access to restaurants and stores nearby, friendly staff, convenient parking

No elevator, had to carry the luggage upstairs; bathroom is tiny

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Suite in the Music building was amazing. Nice breakfast, great service, close to the tram into Köln, can't wait to come back.

noisy environment : neighbouring restaurants, large group of guests arriving after 22:00 making loads of noise. Room smaller than expected...

The location is excelent anf the facility was calm and very clean.

The room was small

I had a single room, very cozy and comfortable. Staff is super friendly.

I am not tall but my room had a very low ceiling which was fine for me but when you book and you’re tall inquire beforehand if you could hit your head :-D

Hotel is nice, picturesque, in an historic part of the village. Breakfast room was renovated and very nice, also the breakfast itself was quite good.

My room was quite small, single bed with limited space in general. Also, it was located at ground level, near the reception, just in front of the garden/patio area. You could see and hear people in the patio if they were talking, smoking or hanging around. Maybe rooms in upper floors are more comfortable and private.

Excellent stay for the night. Nice quaint rooms that still have old charm. Well appointed facilities

Staff is really pleasant and helpful, rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable, each room features coffee machine and team set is available on every floor. Breakfast is also quite nice, with a good variety of local products. There is a nice garden perfect for relaxing or for working in a calm atmosphere. Hotel is located in the town's centre, but far from car traffic. Variety of restaurants and shops are nearby, and the S-Bahn station where you can catch a train to Koeln is also within walking distance.I have really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to everyone.

There was no AC in the room, that's the only reason I have not graded Malerwinkel Hotel as 10/10. If you are visiting outside of summer or you don't use AC, then treat this review as a perfect 10!

Very nice small hotel. Very modern inside. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very friendly.

The air conditioning was super loud, impossible to fall asleep so I had to turn it off.

Breakfast has no scrambled / fried eggs. Only boiled. It was in the summer, it was hot, and the room was too hot, no air conditioning. I could not sleep properly.Rooms in the upper floor have windows which cannot covered from the sunlight.

Very nice hotel in beautiful old house. Stylish and very well reconstructed. Nice rooms with clean bathroom and all necessary toiletaries. Tasty breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Location, location, location.And the room, and the atmosphere

Breakfeast was ok, but very basic.Location is beautiful. Walking distance to townThe room in the music house was beautiful and had ACAt my stay before I had a tiny room, which was ok, but really tiny, no ACFridge with water and other drinks and some snacks available at the reception. You just write down, what you took and the price. A lot of trust!1 Bottle of water at your disposal for free

I had to call attention to the cleaning of the room. One night I come and no towels available (Since they have no 24h-reception, I had to call emergency service and had to be explained, where to get some towels.)Another day the room was not cleaned at all, although I had the sign hanging at the door to please cleanAll in all the stays were good and the reception compensated me for the slip ups. Would have been better, just to have it work though

Breakfast with a lot of variety, the location is ideal for taking the metro to Köln or staying more in a clamer area (Bergisch) or walking in the country side, cleanness.

The room I occupied this time was very warm, airco straight targeting the bed so not useable if we want to avoid falling sick, small windows (low light) giving on the main road (noise when opened). The rooms in the main house are much better.

Central location, friendly service and clean and spacious room

Hotel is clean and well located

sound isolation could be better and we requested an additional bed we our kid, it was not worth what we have additionally paid

I liked how convenient and stress-free this hotel was as a two day stopover while travelling. Parking outside the door, simple come and go for room access. Room comfortable and very functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed staying here.

Cool building, nice location.

There were not enough window panels to make the room dark at night, in room safe did not work, bathroom toilet door sounded like it was breaking every time it moved.
