Kardinal Schulte Haus

The hotel fully met all our expectations. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is located in a large, impressive building that was previously used for religious purposes, which gives it a unique atmosphere. Breakfast was good — not overly abundant or diverse, but more than sufficient. The staff were polite and helpful. The view from the room window was absolutely wonderful and made our stay even more special.

The breakfast was not good for veg or vegan individuals. The rooms were small in size, no space to move, and there was no complimentary water available in the room. There was no coffee machine in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. My room was clean, everything worked properly, and the staff at both the reception and the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly. The area around the hotel is very pleasant, and the view of the city from the hotel is absolutely charming.The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fitness area, table tennis, a restaurant, a bar, and more. The only small downside is that there was no kettle and mini-fridge in the room. However, tea is available in the reception area.

Beautiful garden with gorgeous view, good value for money

Cars cannot park directly at the entrance. We had to carry luggage from parking lot and walk to the main entrance, which is of some distance if one has many luggage. The stairs at the main entrance are not friendly to people who might have mobility issues.

Breakfast was more than enough. The view is amazing. We liked their cows very much. The tram 1 is in close (around 10 min) walking distance, and from there everything can be reached in Cologne.

We need more applejuice. :)

Quite some distances to walk within the building. You could offer a bottle of water in the rooms.

I liked the location, the atmosphere, the staff, the room.

The temperature in the room was too hot because of the sun and the fact that the room does not have air-conditioning.

It’s calm, has a beautiful view and pretty spacious room and bathroom.

Without a car is a little bit of a hassle and it was quite hot.

The location is lovely, set upon a hilltop, just far enough away from the crowds and heat but easily within reach of Cologne/zoo/etc. Simple, clean rooms. Very comfortable stay.

The breakfast was okay and the location is nice.

The vibe was cold, staff could be friendlier and very small rooms. This is a more business hotel it seems. Also during the breakfast all the staff get their coffee at the same machine the guests take their coffee,this is weird to me. As a tourist I would definitely not choose this hotel.

Clean and quite place to stay. The breakfast was very good. The location was good too. We are satisfied with our stay and warm recommend the hotel.
