Mamamapambo Boutique Hotel is located in the seaside village of Jambiani on the southeast coast of Zanzibar island. The hotel is built directly on the beach and is surrounded by lush vegetation. Each room is decorated in an ethnic style and has a large 4-poster bed draped in mosquito nets and has a patio. The spacious bathroom includes a large shower. The restaurant features sea and garden views. It serves both Italian and Swahili cuisine as well as an a la carte menu. The dishes include fresh fish and a rich variety of exotic fruits. Activities such as snorkeling can be arranged for guest. A dolphin tour, spice tour or a visit to Jozani Forest or Zala Park can be booked on request. Free Wi-Fi is available and there is a library at the hotel. The Zanzibar Airport is 34 mi from the property and airport transfers can be arranged.

- The hotel itself is absolutely fabulous, well designed, it is very cute and only 6 rooms! The room is beautiful, I had the one upstairs that is big and with a terrace viewing with beach. The room has open windows system (with mosquitoes net of course) which makes it a natural cooling system, I didnt feel hot at all. All the staff is lovely. The food is very good. It is impressive how the tide changes in 1 day (can be very low and very high) so you have all options
- The location right on the beach, you could hearvthe waves at night. Great breakfast choice and and the fresh fruits Very felpful and friendly staff
- Right on the beach, excellent service and amazing food in the restaurant!
Cons -
- Being very close to the ocean was great but it could get noisy at night especially during tthe rainy season and thunderstorm,
