The Oasis Residence

EVERYTHING!! When i stepped in here, all my worries faded away, no jokes?I absolutely LOVED IT. Before I booked this place I saw that all the reviews were 5/5 and it felt a little suspicious to me, but I kid you not, you will have ZERO complaints. It’s so beautiful, the staff are helpful, ambience is heavenly! Oh my! Please book the Oasis, you’ll be thankful you did. Amazing doesn’t cut it really !

Food and services (eg laundry) can be a bit pricey depending on the currency of the country you’re coming from. As a Nigerian, I found some things pricey…but worth it still!

The staff is absolutely lovely. The pool and everything else very clean. Landscaping beautiful and inviting to relax. The villas are very nice. It’s not right at the beach, but offers free shuttle bus to 3 of their sister hotels

The bed is pretty hard. We didn’t say anything, because it is personal preference. If we had, I’m sure they would have come up with something to help us out

Really well designed hotel, clean, modern and quiet. The gym was also a great bonus and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were also incredible especially Siraj and Telesia. Even though its not on the beachfront its only a short walk.

We had an issue with one of the drivers picking us up in the morning for the dolphin trip and therefore we had to get out of the car and we couldn’t get hold of the hotel on the phone for an hour or so. Would be good for someone from the hotel to have a phone available at all times incase of an emergancy.

I liked every single thing in the property.. starting from the staff welcome ?? to checkout..The lobby, restaurant, pools and villas are all perfect ?

That Bidet sprayer not available in the toilets, thats especially when muslims book the property..

So beautiful place. Every angle was perfect. The pools very perfect, both for swimming and playing for kids. The bar and restaurant was good, service was very attentive.

The villa was new and really clean. The Oasis Residence is a little paradise. The property is well maintained and we love the gym. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. The food was generally super good. The hotel is located 3-4 minutes walking from the beautiful Jambiani beach.

The mattresses were really hard and there were limited dishes for vegetarians.

I really can't fault this property, everything was truly exceptional, the ambience, environment, location (although we hired a car to get around, you can still walk to the beach and only 5 mins to Paje in a taxi if you want more life), the villas were gorgeous, the staff were exceptional in their friendliness and service, the food was lovely, good cocktails and nothing overpriced, we didn't get a chance this trip to take advantage of their access to their other resorts which looked amazing too but we will next time. We come to Zanzibar fairly regularly and we will definitely return here time and time again!

Loved everything! Even when I mentioned the mattresses were too hard, they brought a softer mattress topper! So no everything perfect!

We had an amazing stay, the villa is very spacious, comfy and new. The place offers everything you need: laundry service, grocery list (you can order your own ingredients just like if it was a supermarket), gym (we enjoyed it a lot, simple but enough cardio machines and weights, all new equipment), daily room service, massages (very good!) and shuttle to the other 2 sister properties. We enjoyed the latter ones more as they are beach side and we liked the vibe better. The staff is super friendly and helpful, we would love to come back!

Main thing we did not like was not being able to enjoy breakfast as it gets full of bees flying around, at least in Feb when we were there. Nevertheless you can still ask them to bring it to your villa.Other smaller points: shampoo missing, hairdryer also not there. TV not working well (we could not download prime nor cast). Finally very small detail but around 7/8pm a lady was coming by to spray anti mosquito in your room, a bit annoying if you are chilling there.

The pool was heaven , they organised a party for me since it was my birthday and Kunal is the manager there very accomodating and kind to the staff. It was luxurious, the room aesthetics were pleasing . They have grocery list if you want to cook , the aircon works perfectly compared to my previous hotel . It is newly opened and facilities are great . I can say 10/10 it was my best stay in Zanzibar . You will definitely not regret. They have sister hotels near the beach , if you want to visit during the day they just call a cab for you .

The transport issue which I booked on booking.com . There was a little bit for misunderstanding in terms of communication and as a result they sent me a cab at the airport of which I had already booked transport for airport . But we resolved it . It was okay

Everything was truly amazing I would say almost perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, facilities were great and everything was super new and clean.

Excellent staff, super luxe villa and great food.

The hotel is even better than on the pictures, staff is very welcoming, pool is nice and deep, breakfast is amazing, and rooms are very confortable. Overall, we had a very nice experience and highly recommend!

The internet could be stronger (good for social media but challenging if you need to work), also they used a product in the pool that turned all our bathing suits yellowish (but said they would investigate, so hopefully this should be fixed with better type of chlorine).

Great new resort, comfortable large villas, delicious breakfast. Common spaces, bar area and pool are well maintained and clean. We used the gym and although not large it had everything we needed. SPA was great to for a massage. Staff was very professional and when we encountered an issue it was resolved very efficiently. Short walk to the beach through Jambiani village.

Everything was amazing! Villa and territory was clean and looks like on photo. Personal of hotel really friendly and ready to help. The meal was delicious, almost every dinner was special menu.

The property features two modern pools surrounded by numerous palm trees and lush vegetation, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.The hotel’s restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Additionally, the owners of this wonderful place are exceptionally hospitable and dedicated, making the experience even more special.Everything at The Oasis Residence offers a unique vibe that is hard to find elsewhere. The Oasis Residence was a wonderful surprise.Located in the village of Jambiani, just a hundred meters from the sea, it is a blend of modern architecture and African spirit.I stayed for two days with my family in the Deluxe Villa, a villa equipped with every comfort, including free satellite TV.The staff was fantastic, the food was exceptional, and the free shuttle service, which you can book in the morning, takes you to other stunning resorts owned by the same group as The Oasis Residence, allowing you to spend the entire day at the beach.Returning in the evening to dine on your private veranda taking advantage of the restaurant service, enjoying the view of the tropical garden and the pools, was priceless.Highly recommended!
