Villa Bahati Zanzibar

Like many of the previous reviews, we cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were so welcoming and nice, and can tell that they took pride in their work. The food here is incredible, we would of eaten here for every meal but there are nice restaurants close by that were recommended so we ventured out at times. The rooms are very nice, we requested AC and they accommodated us. Be careful that some rooms do not have AC. I wish we stayed here longer.

They have issues with plumbing here so they ask not to put toilet paper in the toilets. this is fine but they should have bidets so you dont have to use as much paper. This is my only complaint.

The wait staff were amazing. Property is secluded and off the beaten path. Small misunderstanding and upcharge with management which felt like they were more interested in money than guests but it was ultimately resolved satisfactorily. Would highly recommend.

I forget the name of the bartender who takes orders for meals but he was exceptionally nice and kind and helpful. The other staff were also very good and helped arrange activities which were amazing. The location is beautiful overlooking the glorious sea and the beach. There are also lots of other restaurants around and it is close to a little village.The breakfast was delicious and the food on the menu very tasty The room was so well appointed and everything new and modern and beautiful artwork and spacious

The beach was incredible and location super peaceful. The staff were so lovely too. Close to many good restaurants. Really can’t fault it at all.

Villa Bahati is a hidden gem in Jambiani! This small boutique hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was floored by the breathtaking beauty of the setting. The beach is truly one of the most amazing I've ever seen - pristine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. Right next to the beach, the hotel boasts a beautiful pool and lush garden, offering a tranquil escape whenever you want a break from the sand.But what truly sets Villa Bahati apart is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. No request was too big or too small, and they genuinely went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Thank you Timothy, the always happy Mrs Happy, Edward and Jerry to just name some of the staff.And speaking of perfect, the food at Villa Bahati is simply excellent. They offer a delicious combination of local specialties and international favorites, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients from Chef Adam and his team.Overall, Villa Bahati is the ideal place for a relaxing and escape. Whether you're seeking sun-soaked days on the beach, refreshing dips in the pool, or simply a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this boutique hotel delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience in Zanzibar.Unfortunately, I could only stay one night but I will be back for a week or two stay for sure!
