    • It's a cosy boutique hotel, with staff adding their personal touch to everything. 5 stars to the service, smiling happy staff always ready to help. food is outstanding, location was perfect for all activities we planned. The hotel plans entertainment for every night, we were there for new years and they did a great job at organizing a lovely evening.
    • I loved the set up of the property, my villa was amazing and the staff made my stay extremely comfortable.
    • Kaskazi has a feeling of serenity and seclusion which i loved! It was a perfect accommodation for our couple’s getaway! The food was amazing and Sara always checked on us regarding comfort and how we were enjoying our stay.

    Cons -

    • The wifi could have been better, didnt have good service in the room.
    • That I didn’t have enough time to just relax at the property
    • The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which kept dropping almost every day for a couple of hours. The staff mentioned that it’s a general issue across the island and that they’re working on a solution.

Kaskazi Hotel was superb! I really enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff was immaculate and the accommodations were 10/10. Everyone from the concierge to the hotel management made me feel so welcome & comfortable. They made my birthday trip one to remember and I greatly appreciate every moment of it!!

We spent five nights in a deluxe suite, and everything exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff were outstanding. Attentive, friendly, and always professional. The food was delicious, and there was live entertainment every evening after dinner. Truly a wonderful experience and absolutely worth the stay!

The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which kept dropping almost every day for a couple of hours. The staff mentioned that it’s a general issue across the island and that they’re working on a solution.

The ambiance and atmosphere is very beautiful and serene. Nice hotel to relax and unwind. The staff is great and go beyond make you feel welcome.

The location I'll quiet far from the activities and the hotel can do a better job arranging for activities. However, transportation is always available through private arrangements. The rooms and nice and however, they lack the amenities expected for stays in that price range. No expresso machines on the room as no bathrobes and slippers.

Professional team, friendly, always when you need them. Calm, cozy place, beautiful place. Great food! Thank you!!!

    Not such thing.

I stayed here while traveling solo and couldn’t have chosen a better spot! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured, with staff who went above and beyond to make my stay special (even helping me celebrate my birthday). I stayed in one of the suites, which was comfortable and well-kept. The beach right in front of the property is stunning. Note, tides in Jambiani change dramatically throughout the day! At low tide you can walk out across the ocean floor, which feels surreal, and at high tide it’s perfect for swimming. The location is quiet and peaceful, and while there was some nearby construction, it didn’t bother me at all. A wonderful place for anyone looking to relax and feel taken care of in Zanzibar!!!!

Every single staff. The location. The vibe. The cleanliness. The animation. Ahsante Kaskazi. Will definitely come again and again. Highly recommend to everyone one.

Food variety, to my taste, did not meet my standards. Repetitive dishes. To be improved.

The hotell is very nice and had a wonderful big swimmingpool and lovely staff that were very helpful and kind at all times. Dinner was tasty and nice. Beachfront location is great to switch between sea and pool and the view is amazing. Great, calm and relaxing music at the hotel with perfect volume. One evening they had a movie outdoors playing on the projector which was very cozy.

The biggest disappointment was definitely the breakfast. I can’t believe how a supposedly five star hotel can even call that a ”breakfast”. Extremely few selection. Fruits could run out and unless one asked about it, no fruits were replaced. Last two days of our stay by chance did we realize that they served pancakes/crepes at breakfast which we enjoyed but unfortunately for a short time. There should be signs or the customers at least be informed that egg station and pancakes are available to order. The same thing if one should come later during breakfast, it seemed that everything is finished and not replaced. Another let down is that water, coffee, tea and juice are included in the breakfast but cappuccino and other hot drinks have to be ordered separately and charged for. We are coming to enjoy a stress free and relaxing vacation but had to somehow ”survive” the poor selection of breakfast available. Lunch is available and tasty but expensive. Sweets during dinner did not taste good and was not enjoyable. I can say that we enjoyed the chocolate mousse that was served two separated evenings out of our 9 days stay. The beds were hard and after a couple of days our backs and shoulders started to hurt. At certain times power outage did occur and one night during our stay got so hot in the morning because the AC did not work. Sometimes there were no hot water and had to take cold showers which was also not that pleasant. Entertainment systems at the hotel were almost all defective. We tried play darts, airhockey and babyfoot but were all defective in some way and did not made it possible to use. Next to the hotel building construction were ongoing which made it impossible to relax which could go on during the whole day and we got more headache than relaxing those days.

Very personal welcome when arriving. Towel to freshen up and fresh juice. Davis went above and beyond to provide a special surprise for my proposal to my fiancee. He continually checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with our staff. The property is extremely well maintained, clean, and up to date. Staff is top notch, Sefroza took care of us our whole stay. She made our experience so special and meaningful always there to ensure we are receiving everything we want, but, at the same time, respect our privacy.

The only downside was a lack of working tv reception in the room. Only because when rains come, there isn't much to do. Entertainment and activities could be more reliable, maybe because we were at low season there wasn't much to do in the evening

The most amazing holiday we have ever had! Staff unbelivable nice, amazing location, very clean, very good and tastefull food, nice proposals for trips, 1 way transport included.

Rather far from the airport (1.3h of driving), the fact that because of the low tide you cannot swim at all times, low variety in food and the mattresses on the beds were not so comfortable.

amazing location, clean and stylish, the pool with the ocean view and the entire vibe.

the buffet options could be more versatile.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the KASKAZI hotel. The excellent service from the staff, the perfect cleanliness of the apartment and the delicious food in the restaurant were a truly great experience for us. I would like to thank the entire staff for their kind approach and help with my wife Lena's birthday party. We had a wonderful holiday. Many thanks!

Les chambres, les piscines, le personnel! (En plus on mange très bien!)

The hotel was really lovely, so only a few things: - being at the hotel doesn’t mean you are able to avoid the activities vendors from bothering you each day. - there is not a swimming beach, and you’re able just to wade in the waters between tides. (This is common everywhere in Zanzibar though)

We booked room 501 which was a villa with private pool and roof terrace, it was stunning! The staff were amazing, especially Hussein at the garden bar who makes the best cocktails. The food choices for breakfast were great, I thought maybe they could offer the cooked breakfast on a menu but it wasn't a huge deal to go order ourselves. Dinner was buffet style but always lots of choice and delicious every evening. The beach itself wasn't typical sunbathing beach but there is enough room at the hotel for that. When the tide is out you can walk very far out to the sea, absolutely beautiful ? I miss it ?

    Nothing, it was perfection ?

Great facility, really friendly staff and super food.

I loved that it was so much fun to be inside the Hotel. Its literally 10m from the beach. There is a waitress called Mirriam, very thoughtful and served us well. The receptionist too, I forgot their names but Mirriam stood out for me.

The fact that they served us the same food every day. . Zanzibar is hot , but their menu always had soup or stew. There was little seafood served. The cleaners also start cleaning so late, you go to breakfast and for a morning swim and come back around 1pm , its either they just started cleaning or they haven’t started cleaning. They also do not offer packages for excursion, which would be so beneficial for Guests. But you have to rely on outside people, and they will want to charge you ridiculous amounts. The beverages are limited, and quite expensive. Also why was drinking water not free? Zanzibar is too hot, you need to construct hydrateThe waiters take long to clean up tables, and give you what you have requested or ordered. This is a Zanzibar issue, i think most of them have not worked in hospitality so they have zero urgency!

Beautiful hotel with the perfect size—not too many rooms, yet enough to create a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with a great bathroom. Both dinner and breakfast are included, featuring fresh fish of excellent quality and generous portions. It feels well-balanced, without excessive leftovers, avoiding the typical mass all-inclusive vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better.

Not much to add—perhaps a few extra beach umbrellas around the swimming pool and a clothes horse in the house would be nice additions..

Pleasantly sized resort with great thought out buffet dinners and modern and spacious rooms and infrastructure. A big plus is a beach volleyball court.

Lack of places in shade in the pool area, only six umbrellas accommodating only a fraction of guests. The drinking water supply was not sufficient as we only had 4l a day per 4 persons which is far from a healthy drinking regime.
