Masai Mara Zanzibar - Boutique Hotel

Spacious, open room — spotlessly clean.We especially loved the villa’s outdoor design, where bold red and sea-green accents beautifully contrast with the dominant whites of sand and concrete, the turquoise shimmer of the pool and ocean, and the lush greens of the plants. It feels like a small, creatively designed paradise — one that looks just as stunning at night under the soft glow of the lights.The place feels very safe. A member of the staff is always on-site, and both the main entrance and the beach gate are securely locked. Each room has an electronic metal safe box. Three large but friendly dogs add to the sense of safety as well.During the day, the atmosphere is enhanced by music — several playlists of different genres, from pop ballads to light rock, electro, and Afro beats.The food is fabulous, though relatively expensive (priced in USD rather than TZS). A tasty and generous breakfast is included.The staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay.

An internet connection is not available everywhere and is often unreliable.

It looks like the pictures, there are only 4 rooms and it’s calm and perfect to start a trip in Zanzibar. The pool is clean, and the food is great! Don’t hesitate to give the restaurant a try for an evening, especially the sea food platter!

The vibe was a bit lacking, there is a local manager but the owner is not living there anymore.The room is really nice but the shower aged badly and the water pressure is somewhat tricky.

The friendly staff, the ease of everything, the breakfast was beyond amazing, the access to the beach, the outdoor pool seating area, the difference in music during the day and night was lovely, the dogs at the hotel were super cute too! It’s very cosy and felt like home.

Excellent boutique hotel. We practically had the entire property to ourselves. Outstanding views of Jambiani beach. Lovely, relaxing stay.

The WiFi was very spotty.

My stay at this hotel was just perfect! From the start I was impressed by the fantastic location right on the beach. The beach was immaculate, with fine white sand and crystal clear water - a true dream for anyone looking to relax. The hotel itself was just as impressive. Everything was incredibly clean and well-kept, so you could immediately feel at home. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, ideal for a break from everyday life. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly and courteous staff. Your every wish was read out loud and you always felt welcome and well looked after. Another highlight was the food, because everything was fresh, varied and simply delicious. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back!

It is a very beautiful and intimate boutique hotel. The manager Sylvester and his team were very welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is lovely and plentiful. The view from this hotel is heavenly!!! Thank you to the owner Isai for your hospitality and checking up on us during our stay at the hotel. You and Olivia have a wonderful place.

The exclusivity, it was very serene and quiet, a good escape from the buzzing city of Zanzibar. And oh the view was everything and more. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it felt like home away from home. Sylvester and crew did amazing.

The locks in the room could be improved, the door lock to the front poach in our room was bad. Also, fumigation should be done more frequently maybe, insects got into the rooms easily.

location was good, we had a room upgrade too which gave us great view of the sea, pool was good and good size, breakfast was plenty full, evening meal was superb really enjoyed the steak, quiet location, wish we could of stayed longer

fridge would if been nice,ants in toilet, but was sorted once we raised the issuemaybe some coffee tea facilities in room, i like my coffee first thing in morning,
