    • The Property is fantastic. It was an amazing stay. The staff was very courteous. The Cleanliness was amazing. The Rooms were super private, which was loved by me and my wife. We would love to visit again to this property.
    • Beautiful place and lovely friendly stuff. food is great!
    • The place was very nice with a beautiful garden all around, the staff was very friendly and the manager made sure that the guests fell at home. The pace is also very creative by making dinner in different parts of the resort with a theme.

    Cons -

    • The only low part was that it is not a "Beachfront Property". What i mean is - that it is on the beach, but you can not walk into the beach, as they have a rocky terrain, and they have made a "Salt Water Lagoon" at their location. The lagoon is excellent. But the property is not beach front - meaning - you cannot walk on to the beach from the property. They have made some special arrengements at a location nearby, which they say is their private beach. But it is 4 to 5 kilometers away, and accessible only a specific times, via Car. Free ride is only twice in a day, otherwise you have to pay. This was never evident from the photos i saw, at the time of booking. Had i known about it, i would not have booked it - as me and my wife wanted a beach front property for our stay.
    • Food is expensive, laundry is expensive, location is far from a lot of things. The resort had no direct access to the beach but they have sceduled transportation. The beach was super dirty though.
    • You really need a car here if you want to get to nicer beaches. The private beach that belongs to the hotel is very small and also full of seaweed. Not their fault, but we had to go to the west side as a day trip for the clear water and clean beaches.

Very clean, idyllic. Great pool and lagoon. Very generous breakfast offer. Awesome place to just relax for a few days. The staff was kind and responsive and management responded to our concerns.

I loved how our room was cleaned multiple times a day every single day it was so nice coming home from activities and everything is cleaned and our bed made, and then going to dinner and coming back and our bed was drawn for us to sleep and the room was cleaned again. I absolutely loved that. And the manager Vladya was soooo nice and answered the thousand questions I had, she was amazing!

I wish there was a little more explaining on the food situation, me and my partner were confused the first couple times if the food was just charged to our room, or if they bring us a check to pay right then. They dont tell you how it works so just sat there for a while wondering if we could get up and leave or if we had to wait for a check, we had to ask the staff a lot of questions to figure out how it works.

Nice place to be! Friendly staff, clean, European Style Food. Big swimmingpool….Perfect for those who like to relax, enjoy good food and drinks and like to stay most of the time in the property

Far away from Stonetown - minimum 1 Hour Drive , which is quite expensive.

Very Disappointing Experience – Theft in Hotel Room

During my stay, I had a very unpleasant experience. Last night, one of my small wallet that I placed on top of other wallets inside the safe box in my room was stolen. We searched everywhere but could not find it. The stolen wallet contained my two ID card and two credit cards. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. A hotel should provide safety and security, especially when valuables are kept in the safe. Unfortunately, this incident ruined my trust in the hotel and my stay overall.I had to report this situation to the police, which caused further stress during my trip. I do not recommend this property to anyone who values their safety and peace of mind.

I really liked that it was quiet and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Nice big pool and a nice salt water lagoon. As a solo female traveller I always felt safe. I also liked that the resort used glass refillable bottles for water and soaps. Given the big plastic garbage problem in Zanzibar overall I think that using refillable options is good. The food was fresh and the band playing one evening were great!

The location. The beach was heavily affected by tides. During my stay even the beach at Uroa was affected (or I timed my going there wrong). If you are looking forward to a beach getaway maybe consider other options if you don't want to shuffle to the Uroa beach or pay extra for a driver that could take you north where the beaches are not as affected by tides.

I liked the amount of greenery, was quite refreshing actually.

I didn’t like the sluggishness in attending to specific things. A few things were a bit of a drag, however, food ordered in the restaurant came out quickly and I appreciated that. I also didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t a 24/7 reception or security. I wanted to call at 1am for a bit of an inconvenience but quickly remembered that I couldn’t. Also, I think the space could benefit from a midnight menu.

I fell in love with the natural state of the facility immediately I walked in. It was all nature. Beautiful greens, the sounds of birds chirping, the water, the quietness and serenity of the environment. It's a beautiful place. And the stand alone challet.. Spacious. Very clean. Friendly staff.. Uncrowded.. A value for money.

The choices of breakfast are very limited. . The same menu every morning could be boring for guests staying over a week.

Beautiful pool area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was big, clean, and wasn't crowded with people. We really relaxed at this hotel.

Despite having a shuttle to a nearby beach and a private beach bar, this did not meet our expectations. On the day we were there they were unable to serve food, and it was annoying that activity guides were waiting at the bottom of the stairs to the beach, staring directly at the area we were in.

    10MonikaPosted on: 2-11-2025

The facilities of the hotel and their private beach. Food was excellent and staff very professional and nice. Swimming pool was huge and almost always empty. A definitive MUST STAY place in Zanzibar!

The place is so clean, well organised. It has such a large awesome pool. It's quiet and very relaxing. It's the perfect getaway for anyone who would want to just relax and re-energize.

The mattress was terrible. It's the only reason the place wasn't perfect. It would sink in, the pillows were really hard, and to he honest, the sleep was not the best. It's a pity that for such a great looking place, the sleep experience wasn't the best.

It was how we imagined, exotic, intimate, and full of love. The Hoast and hole team were really great, very helpful and full of smiles and positive energy. We were filling special all the time.Thank you all, we were in real Paradise .

A very pleasant hotel, they work hard to keep everything clean. Not sure if the pool is treated regularly with chlorine.Staff are always smiling and hard working, they really do a great job and long hours. Asante SanaThere is literally nothing to do unless you get a taxi 45 mins in either direction. So if you're after a holiday in a hotel, it's great, but that's all there is. Not really a beach neither.

Food is pricy, $15 a meal, that soon adds up when you buy drinks and are there for 6 days. It's a shame because I would have liked to have tipped more.Cocktails weren't that strong. No option to avoid the cleaning for a day, which for the environment would prove better.

Breakfast was very good, the Gluten Free option was amazing…. The villas were well kitted out and housekeeping brilliant. A member of the management team and waitress went above and beyond with helping with information and treatment for burnt lips….. thank you.

My main issue was the gluten free meals were limited, but I did manage to eat….. perhaps the menu could highlight what is GF and another dessert could be available rather than just ice cream.

Amazing place with private bungalows, large pool and free transfers to nearby beach with private beach bar.

    9KarinaPosted on: 1-3-2025

This is a lovely place that is a wonderful place to relax. It is a quiet place. Everything is catered for. Big beautiful pool. Staff are lovely and friendly and try to accommodate everyone's needs. All inclusive option works out well.

Bookers need to note that there is no beach at the hotel and is not within walking distance - there is a shuttle from the hotel 3 times a day. The hotel offers a venue at the beach with access to drinks and sunbeds. The beach itself is also quiet and does not have open restaurants and bars as per some of the other beaches in Zanzibar.

It was such a remarkable stay! Being a Black woman traveling alone, comfort and safety are my top priorities. White Paradise provided that and so much more. I enjoyed their warmth, hospitality and flexibility. 10/10 recommend! I will be back!

The wifi would go out sometimes but it would be repaired quickly. Beside, when you are living in the moment who needs internet.
