Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort

Our stay was honestly amazing — probably one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, really thoughtful, and made us feel special the whole time. The resort is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens, stunning ocean views, plenty of privacy, and clean, comfy, luxurious rooms. The food was incredible too — every meal felt like a treat. Tulia is one of those places you just never want to leave.

Our stay was truly exceptional — easily one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish. The resort is absolutely stunning: beautiful gardens, breathtaking ocean views, complete privacy, and luxurious, spotless rooms. The food was outstanding, with every meal feeling like fine dining. The all-inclusive concept here sets a whole new standard. Tulia is a place you never want to leave.

The staff was so intentional and from arrival to departure made sure every part of our trip was delightful. Michelle, and Veronica took care of us from the welcome. We even had an issue with our luggage (no fault of the resort) and Veronica made sure the local airport had it delivered to us. Michelle facilitated in helping make our memories one worth a lifetime. Our drivers from the resort Abdul, Abu amongst others ensures our safety from pickup to drop off for each trip. Simon, Ezra and the Masala men came together and delivered a extraordinaire birthday event. Thank you to the entire Tulia staff. We are eternally grateful.

Tulia is truly an amazing resort—one of the best we have ever been to. From the moment we entered the property, we were warmly welcomed by everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was absolutely delicious, and the landscape felt like a little piece of heaven. My husband and I felt like VIP guests throughout our stay, as every need was promptly taken care of. I highly recommend Tulia to anyone looking for peace, quiet, and a truly welcoming place.

The property is absolutely stunning! The decor and design of everything was perfect. It blended in with the natural surroundings seamlessly, making us feel like we had the resort to ourselves. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The staff is incredible! Everyone was so friendly and happy. They were very attentive too. The staff is half the reason we loved our stay so much. The food was great, and the entertainment was even better. If we ever get the chance to return, we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Honestly, we have no complaints about the actual property. The only thing worth mentioning is that you’re unable to add a tip to your bill for drinks or meals as they only take cash tips, so keep that in mind when planning. The closest ATM is 10 mins away by cab or driver.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the Tulia property and staff are. I can say that I went back half-way around the world to stay there again, even though there are a lot of closer beaches and islands. And I dragged my friend along with me this time. When we got there, she said she finally understood why I loved it so much.

There were loud children next door, but the staff quieted them down once and they were no bother the rest of the trip.

Tulia was an absolute beauty- luxurious. The staff service was top, the details on the building, the place is soo serene. I can’t praise it enough… it was calming. Michaelle treats you like you are her only guest- with much care and attention. They do fine dining so there is two options to pick on for main course each day- which might be limiting for some. It was not the case for us. We loved Tulia and hope to be back again next time in Zanzibar!

The resort is amazing and the staff were beyond helpful they are supers by all means, fast, kind and so helpful. I would definitely stay with them again and highly recommend this resort for people who want to enjoy their trip to Zanzibar.

It was exceptionally beautiful. , the staff was very welcoming. Special thanks to Adela for her constant care and the executive chief for accommodating all our requests.

The service was excellent! Everyone made sure I was taken care of at all times. Whatever I needed, they were there. It's a very family oriented place and everyone is genuinely nice. They also gave me little gifts after I left and before I left, which was very thoughtful.

Tulia was amazing. The hotel was clean and beautiful, the staff were lovely and the meals were fabulous! We enjoyed our stay very much and left feeling very relaxed. Cannot wait to be back!

The hotel was simply perfect, everything we could have hoped for on our honeymoon and more! From start to finish it was flawless service from the friendliest and most attentive staff we’ve ever experienced. The location, rooms, pool, facilities, etc were all amazing and the layout/size of the hotel was great! Finally, the food was exceptional and the all inclusive is well worth it! Overall, Tulia made our honeymoon so special and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

Staff is very friendly and attentive to every need and strive to make it a memorable experience. We stayed in The bungalow with sea view and it was spectacular. It is expensive but everything is included even the room bar . Good choice of wine and spirits ( including Campari ) and food was excellent . Stefan ( real name Peter ) was excellent in explaining everything about the resort , super friendly and we really enjoyed the card game we played together in the evening . We all had our complimentary 1 hour massage which was excellent. We also recommend the boat trip (included in the stay ) and highlight of the holiday was the walk during low tide , spectacular.We would definitely recommend this hotel 100% .

Wish the pool was a little bit bigger but that’s all .

The staff are a real highlight of this resort - very customer-focused and wanting to please (special shout-out to Petr in guest relations, Joseph from the wait staff & Loweshi from the Maasai team).Great location if you want to just chill-out and relax (which was my intent!). Small resort and does not feel over-crowded at all - lots of places to chill. Good pool and loungers looking out over the ocean (can walk beach at low tide and stairs leading straight to ocean for swimming).Impressed with the food - not always the case with all-inclusive places; but here was very good quality and options. Their local farm for fresh produce was a nice touch. Fun bar staff and again drinks all-inclusive. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Really lovely gardens around the resort.Overall, really enjoyed my stay.

One for the girls … time to upgrade the hairdryers in the rooms please :)If you want a bit more “action” … location may not be for you.

Staff were wonderful and this was the first all inclusive that was literally all inclusive for food, drinks, cocktails etc.

Only challenge was the weather! Would have liked a little more sunshine in paradise!

Tulia Zanzibar is truly unique. When arriving at the resort entrance, you are greeted by Maasai who beat the drums and are then warmly welcomed by the staff with exquisite goodies and such friendliness.Throughout my stay (alone) the management staff took the time for a chat, made me feel at home, and treated me as a very special guest. The service was fantastic and the meals were absolutely delicious. You get spoiled with all sorts of surprises and entertainment. It is an oasis where you can relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy the lovely beach with comfortable loungers. Thank you all for this memorable stay and for the very kind and personal notes! You just don't want to leave Tulia - I will definitely be back in the future.

Tulia staff, food, location and property is amazing. World class luxury. we stayed at some other “5star” resorts on our Tanzania trip, and this is by far the best. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. When the head chef heard we were leaving Saturday afternoon and so would miss BBQ night he had his staff put together a private BBQ night for us in the gardens, truly amazing and wonderful!

It’s not fair that you have to leave at the end of the stay; they should just let you live there forever. Not sure we’ll ever find fruit as tasty and ripe as Tulia’s.

The staff were amazing, so so friendly and obliging, great with our baby girl also, 10/10 guys, keep up your outstanding work!!The chef in the resort was amazing also, any dish we fancied all we had to do was give 24 hours notice and it was done!
